What position are you overloaded at? My 1B delimma

So, I find myself in a bit of a pickle. I have too many good first basemen.

Rizzo - 89 overall - received as a loyalty reward.
Carpenter - 85 overall - stub purchase for Cardinals Collection
Paul Goldschmidt (flashback) - 89 overall mission reward.

I was doing fine with Rizzo starting at 1B. Carp at 3B and I would bring in Goldy against lefties.

Now I just finished the Cardinals Epic and received

    Orlando Cepeda - 94 overall.

I can't afford to carry them all on the team. I think I have to start Cepeda who has insane contact against both lefties and righties and power to boot. Plus he is a hardware player and I don't have any of those to use for missions. Of course only Carp has the flexibility of playing multiple positions so I am going to have to eject Rizzo or Goldy from the team. It will probably be Goldy as I could use a good Left handed batter for pinch hitting.

Anyone else have these tough decisions at any position?

Not too much so. However, I'm getting better luck at LF than anywhere else. I have Bichette as my Gold Mission Starter, and he led to Breakout David Peralta. My speedster is Craig Gentry as well, all LF, but all eligible at RF (and only Bichette isn't a CF). However, I so have a bit of an issue with Adam Lind as 1B-only and Matt Carpenter as my starting LF. I have contemplated benching Wright because I'd like to have both in the lineup, where the AI will always extreme shift them with the bases empty.

Cepada is a god so definitely play him id drop Rizzo honestly bc goldy is a lefty bat off the bench and carp can play other spots.

My stacked spots are 1b and of

        Rizzo bats left
        Goldy bats right

My bench is already heavy with right handed hitters.

I had a logjam at SS also but those guys are more flexible. I started my team with Diaz at 3B, Story at SS and Segura at 2B. When I got Carpenter and moved him to third, I moved Diaz to short and had to drop Story from the team completely.

I'm overloaded at first as well. I have diamond Votto, gold Freeman, Belt, Pujols.. I'm playing Votto though.

Catcher is another one. Gold Bench til I finish the Reds epic, Sanchez, Martin, Weiters, McCann, Rookie Posada..

All of my good outfielders are center fielders(Yelich, Lofton, Pollack), and all of my bad infielders are 3B and 1B.m First base is Bichette, second is Dozier, Short is Villar, and third is All Star Holt. I also have a wealth of mediocre catchers

I'm struggling to figure out how to handle my outfield overall. I'm weak in CF but too strong in the corners, plus I'm trying to play the Griffey Jr. (Reds version) every game which adds to the clutter.

Yeah, I am playing rookie Griffey Jr but he is doing okay and I don't have an abundance of great outfielders.

Same, using the Rookie Griffey, but I'm doing terribly. He's hitting .191 and producing nothing for me. I have him sitting 7th in the lineup for my troubles. I definitely should look to replace .214-hitting Brock Holt too. He was great for me really early, and has popped a couple dongers of late, but he's just not getting it done with the bat or a great enough fielder to warrant being on my roster much longer.

My lineup is loaded with my mediocre mission starters...lol. Bichette in RF for gold starter, Griffey Jr. in CF, whoever has a good IE in LF. Nolan Arenado rookie at 3rd, Brock Holt diamond starter at SS, Pedrioa at 2nd, and typically Martinez at 1st. then some low silver catcher (Yadi, Weiters, Vogt, etc,)

I can't get Bogaerts in the lineup at SS because Rookie Arenado and Brock Holt are slowing draining my soul to complete their missions

I'm stacked at pitching and infield. Have 3 diamond starting pitchers which with a 5 man rotation I am good...However at first I have Diamond Votto, Diamond Cepada, Gold Carpenter, and 89 Golds.......I am starting Cepada...his contact and power!!! 60 spd not bad for that position. I just dont know it I want Votto or Golds as my backup. Carpenter I switched to third but now I have 89 Beltre....I think I should sell Carpenter (I actually have 2, one for loyalty and one I picked up as loot, just waiting for his price to go up).

My outfield is lacking...Blackmon is my best at 86 I believe, then I have Griffey Jr and Dante Bichette. I am working towards Kenny Lofton though and hoping to garner one more really good outfielder because I will be stuck with Jr for awhile.

Yup, absolutely no foresight by them for doing this. I havent even bothered to get McGriff and waste all those cards because Freddie is just as good if not better almost everyday.

Also I have Encarnacion as my loyalty reward, I try play him at third for now where he is a disaster
