Conquest Rewards?

I'm seeing a lot of people getting Diamond and gold card rewards for doing things like beating the entire AL and such in Conquest... I already beat Conquest... every last spot... never got any card rewards, just stubs, XP, and tickets.

Did I get glitched or what happened?

You have to do the missions to get rewards, just beating conquest only gets you some packs.

It is multiple steps

1. Take over Stronghold and redeem that mission. There is a mission for each.
2. When you have finished a whole division then redeem in the mission for that.
3. Do the task on the gold mission that appears when you redeem the mission in #2.

These are not as easy as people seem to believe. For one you have to get 10 wins from lefty pitchers, or hit homeruns with a specific type of player. The one I am currently working on is amassing 275 plate appearances with AL central players.

Conquest is just too easy to give out gold or diamond cards just for defeating 5 strongholds.

There aren't as many rewards in conquest this year, but they are much easier to obtain IMO.

You need 10 doubles with hardware players for 86 Gio Soto
You need 10 homers with all star players for 89 Goldschmidt
You need 8 wins with breakout starting pitchers for 91 Catfish Hunter
You need 275 plate appearances with al central players for 86 A. Escobar
You need 80 strikeouts with lefty starting pitchers for 91 CC Sabathia
You need 50 hits with breakout players for 87 Anthony Rendon

Once you get all of the american league missions done, you can feed players to unlock 93 Curtis Granderson, who is an absolute MONSTER

Once you get all of the national league missions done, you can feed players to unlock 93 Matt Holliday

And finally, once you unlock Granderson and Holliday, you can unlock 94 Reggie Jackson.

It took me about 3 days to complete the entire map and maybe a week to finish all of the missions.

It is nice because you can get 5 great diamonds and 4 good golds without spending a dime on the game

How do you attack the map? I have a lot of strongholds now, and am attacking north/east, but I'm just getting barraged from all angles and don't have enough fans to hold them off

I started by attacking the map at the Rockies, then headed to the Mariners. Then straight down Cali to all of those teams, over to Arizona, and then to Houston, up to Arlington, KC, Twins, back down to STL, Braves, Florida, etc. Basically I just snaked the whole thing and finished with Boston up in the NE corner.

So wait... how do you unlock the Granderson mission? What missions do I have to complete? I just finished the Sabathia mission and the Rendon mission.

Just move those fans somewhere else and continue. Why reset when you seem to be doing well?

But yes, you can reset, it's in the menu when you press "Options", select Restart.

You have to complete all three Gold AL missions and then a new mission will pop up for Granderson. Same for Holliday on the NL side.

Curious about this statement. I played conquest early last year. There were no missions and you could only earn the 10 pack once.

Last year every team had 2 player reward missions unlocked via conquest.

Was this patched in later? I certainly don't remember it when I played conquest in the first or second week of the game last year. It is possible I just forgot it though.

I'm positive it was a day one thing. Step one was playing x amount of innings with players from the given team, and step two was the "feed mission." Some of the reward players were insanely good and really easy to get, I'm surprised you never heard of it.
