I'm literally drawing a blank when it comes to what they may have up their sleeve for this, I just hope it's not something that will have a negative effect on your franchise progress. (i.e. win a series with nothing but 70 ovr players). Thoughts?

Potential Franchise Missions
As primarily a franchise first guy I was somewhat thrilled at the notion of having missions in franchise mode. Clearly, the last thing the devs are worried about at the moment are adding additional missions, and rightfully so. But....I'm wondering what you all think could be some missions, mission themes, etc. that they could add down the road? I'm aiming for more outside the box missions, not win a world series or promote a prospect, and what you think rewards might be like as compared to the DD mission rewards?

Re: Potential Franchise Missions
Most likely we'll have to what until next year to find out. Pretty sure I saw Ramone say on twitter they don't expect to add more this year. -

Re: Potential Franchise Missions
There aren't going to be any more annoyingly, but I can think of a few they could have added if they cared about franchise mode.
Sign a player to a $100m+ contract
Trade for a 90+ rated player
Break a franchise single season or all time record
Rebound from a losing season to reach the playoffs
Make a deadline day trade
Have a player hit 100 HR's for you
Have a player win 50 games for you (etc, etc)
Probably a bunch more they could do, even if it was as simple as keeping track of overall hits, doubles, K's etc like they do for every different DD modeComment

Re: Potential Franchise Missions
Agree with the above post. They could also turn the GM Goals into missions that reward you once completed.
They could also tie the Record books into missions. Have all the single game, season, and career record books. Or maybe simplify it by using Franchise records. By breaking a record you've completed the mission. That would be pretty neatComment

Re: Potential Franchise Missions
sweep a team in your division in a road series 4-0 or 3-0
season sweep a team in your division 19-0
win all your interleague games
trade away a 90+ overall player for a player 75 and under, make the playoffs
lead the league in complete games with your starting rotation
win a game seven on the road
win the world series in a sweep
pitch back-to-back-to-back shutouts
win the world series with a budget under 100 million
win the all-star game in a walkoff
win the triple crown, but with 3 different players on your team each winning only one leg of the crown
fire your manager mid-season with a losing record, win the the world series
I bet I could come up with a ****-tonne more of these tooOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

That's a bummer seeing they have a bunch of empty slots in there next to the Starter missions.Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/GMBBrian

Re: Potential Franchise Missions
What is exactly the missions in franchise mode?I noticed this, but I figured it just had something to do with earning crap for the gimic modes. I have no use for that DD gimic stuff, so I just ignored the missions.
Does it actually have any impact on your Franchise?Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11
