Speedy players
What are some good speedy players? The only players that I have that are of any speed without sacrificing too much elsewhere are Odubel Herrera and Eduardo Nunez. Everyone else that can fit in my lineup is slow, or can't hit worth a dang. My lineup seems to be a lot of guys who can hit the ball a mile, but takes them a week to get to first.Tags: None -

Diamond Cain is AWESOME, I use him and Dee Gordon. -

Re: Speedy players
Dale Murphy from the Braves collect 15 mission is fast for a catcher at 79 speed, and his hitting and arm are both decent as well. Wil Meyers gets around pretty well for a 1B.Comment

Re: Speedy players
Yeah I liked Meyers too. Only removed him when I pulled goldy and freeman in back to back packs.Comment

Re: Speedy players
I love Dee Gordon hitting leadoff, but he has no power to hit homers.
If you can get the conquest missions done 93 Granderson is really good for me. Has 97 contact and 96 power vs righties, but is pretty useless vs lefties. I find that he catches people off guard with his 81 speed and 91 stealing because people don't usually expect that from Curtis Granderson.Comment

Re: Speedy players
Glad to hear that. I've got the key Royals cards and I'm going for him. His stats against right handed pitchers concerns me a bit, but from the sounds of what you're saying he does at least alright.
Against lefties he's obviously insane, his defense is crazy good, and he's got speed and stealing.Comment

Re: Speedy players
For a cheap base stealer who can get on, Nunez the 3rd baseman is great

Billy Hamilton, Dee Gordon, Terrence Gore, Odubel Herrera, Lorenzo Cain, Jonathan Villar just to name a few.

Re: Speedy players
I've got Marte. He's IMO he best leadoff hitter in the game (excluding diamonds) because he's a legit extra base threat. I've got both Gordon and Hamilton and I find they rarely hit anything out of the infield. I usually end up grounding out with them 8 out of 10 times. Where as Marte has the power to hit doubles and triples.
I just picked up Will Myers at first, haven't run him out yet. I was using Victor Martinez but his lack of speed was killing me. Excited to see what Myers can do, I've heard good things about him.Comment
