    Gimmick lineups

Anybody run gimmick lineups, like 'only switch hitters' or 'players with high socks/stirrups'? The diamond reward lineup that I basically have is good and fun, but sometimes I like to mix it up. I ran players who only have power under 50 and speed above 70 yesterday with some fun

I basically only ever run gimmick lineups. Use only players from Georgia. Use only players who went to X college(s). Use players who only have X arm strength. Or I'll just do it All-Pro style and say I can only have one diamond, two golds, two silvers, and then the rest have to be bronze and common or whatever -- basically institute a salary cap on myself. I never, ever put out the most stacked lineup I can.

I can't use a lineup for more than 2-3 games without switching it up in some capacity, it's part of why I wish I could save lineups and rotate them. But it's whatever, since I can quickly switch players out all the same.

I basically am running an only switch hitters lineup in the new event, in order to grind hits for the Ozzie Smith Epic Mission. I also was thinking about running a lineup with only high cuffed players, as my uniforms are based off the 1937 San Francisco Mission Reds of the Pacific Coast League, and those do not look right with pajama bottoms.

I don't feel like losing two Battle Royale games just to spend 1500 stubs to see, so I'll ask. Does anyone know the caps on lineups for it? I'm trying to make a lineup based on that, but I got lost after 2 Diamond 2 Gold. and I know that sometimes you can have 3 diamonds anyway

Generally speaking, the Battle Royale lineup is:

              2 Diamonds
              2 Golds
              7 Silvers
              7 Bronze

played a team (reds) the other day who had one of my players (brandon phillips) on it, so it kind of irked me a bit (from a realism perspective). so i went to a team of all free agents to play against mlb teams. it is definitely a challenge assembling a very good team with just free agents but i was able to get some decent players recently (buerle, fielder, victorino,etc.). my goal is to assemble the best free agent team possible. nice to see my DD team (montreal expos) back again. miss that team. went with the original home unis and their last away unis with blue hats. DD has me hooked.
