Re: Ranked seasons
Yes there will be new season and rewards are rewarded at end of the season.

Re: Ranked seasons
People keep saying that they will get that certain player but if you read the writing for it, it says possible rewards. Is it certain that the rewards are what you get for sure?

Re: Ranked seasons
Yep. You can drop ranks etc. once you hit whatever level and still get the rewards at that top level you reached.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

Re: Ranked seasons
I didn't know this! That's huge for me. I had struggled to reach exactly 600, and had decided I was just going to sit on my rating until the season ended...
Now I don't have to! Awesome! Thanks for this info.Comment

Re: Ranked seasons
If it's what you get, why does it say possible rewards?

Re: Ranked seasons
They are 'potential' rewards that are contingent on you establishing a certain rating. When starting Ranked Seasons play, we 'ALL' have the potential of earning that Paul Goldy. Not everyone is going to reach the 900 level, hence the 'potential/possible' rewards portion. At the very least, this is my understanding of it.Comment

Re: Ranked seasons
I filled my lineup and rotation with breakout guys hoping to finish the breakout programs and with the intention of losing some games in CS because I kinda would prefer the live diamond over the goldschmidt card that ill never use because I have Freddie. Now Im sitting at 899 after winning like 5 in a row and I dont know what to do. That lower tier of live diamonds already have a bunch of cheaper guys like Lester, Davis, etc. Id much rather Goldschmidt for pure stub value than one of those guys. But the chance at pulling a Seager or something is enticing.Comment

I'm starting to wonder how much the Goldy is going to be worth.. there's like 70 pages of players in the World Series division, and each page has ~15 guys on it. There's going to be well over 1000 people getting Goldy, and I feel like a lot of people will want to sell.
The market is going to be flooded with him once he's released. It could potentially make him less valuable than a couple of the "low" diamonds. Not to mention the 97 Goldy has no collateral value of being added to a set. I still feel frustrated by this reward process.Comment

I mean it's still a 97 overall card.I'm starting to wonder how much the Goldy is going to be worth.. there's like 70 pages of players in the World Series division, and each page has ~15 guys on it. Ranked seasons
Yeah don't get me wrong, it's a good card. But I don't think it's going to have the same value as other highly rated cards. It's not going to be as rare as the BR 12-0 cards and it doesn't have ties to a collection. It's also a first baseman which is a really deep position.
I have no problem with the reward or the quality of the reward. I'm just curious as to what its value will be. I feel like there will be so many immediately available that the value won't be as high as it should be. Which is damaging to the game for more than one reason.
I'm making this assumption based on the way the madden ultimate team market functioned with rewards. Hopefully I'm just totally wrong.Last edited by SigmundFraud; 05-14-2017, 05:56 PM.Comment
