i dont think so, they know they must have some type of blog to show they did something to the mode.my prediction :

1- almost half of the "improvements" will be to UI changes.

2-based on the wording , they seemed to add some features to the app. I predict sign fa, send and accept trades, spend xp , maybe resign players.Basically bring back functions we had with CFM Website. Maybe a surprise outside of this.

3- A couple of minor things added, like new drills in game prep, or a new "big decision" , new info on ticker maybe,oh yeah and "fix regression" for the 3rd or 4th year in a row that still wont be done well.

Outside of that , ill be surprised of much more .Mostly fluff to take up blog space to make it look more in depth in changes than really will be there. Alot will be UI changes.
    Yup, i said it !

They made a big stink last year about how it was the biggest upgrade ever and we got practice squad and player editing back. This year there's no mention of anything new so I'm just hoping nothing got removed

CFM will be better but by how much, who knows. Like with Big Decisions, was the game better with it? Probably. Would it have been any worse without it? Not at all. My guess is that there aren't any major additions and most of what was done is tuning and tweaking. Gameplanning will probably see the most attention with how shallow and poorly done it was, regression, probably goals again, maybe scouting again. I think we'll probably see coordinators but not position coaches and I don't think they'll have much of an effect on anything outside of maybe some XP discounts or GamePlan boosts.

On one hand I like it because it means they'll be working on some aspects that they haven't really implemented fully and need a lot of attention and they'll be able to start actually making them better rather than adding new stuff and leaving them behind. Then on the other hand there is so much that needs to be added/changed or shouldn't be there that I just wish they'd start tearing the bad stuff out and do it the right way. Last year was a complete dud and this year looks that way too as far as new additions but for features that are already in it could be really positive depending on how they execute which is obviously suspect but still.

Here are some of my wishlist for franchise and just tell me yes or no you think it might be in
          1. Suspensions
          2. Create draft class
          3. Training camp
There is a lot more I personally want but these are what I think are realistic this year. What does everybody else think?

No, no, maybe. Training camp/ drills may be a possibility bc of the inclusion of story mode. By the looks of the trailer the story may have a player doing combine drills and the like

Suspensions definitely won't ever be in. Draft Class I'd say is extremely unlikely. Training Camp is a possibility but I think they're good with GamePlanning for practice. I could see them doing the old training camp with a few drills for attribute boosts or XP before the season but I wouldn't count on it. CFM is always unknown though so it's hard to tell what they're ever doing.

I did the ea play test for madden 17 and all they had us focus on was CFM. I really hope I didn't waste my time giving my opinion and they change nothing. Then again it wasn't a waste because I got FIFA and NHL for free.

If nothing big is coming for CFM then there's no point in me purchasing the game after 10+ years in a row.. I rarely have time to play now and if there is nothing ground breaking, oh well.

I take time to come to this site and check to see if they're catering to the true fans, the ones who have bought and used their products for years upon years. If they're leaving us out to dry, I'm done. This is the make or break year for myself and the my small group of friends that still play.

                        Play Styles
Simulation - True to player and team ratings using authentic NFL rules and gameplay.

Wonder what this means, does it mean player ratings will be different than on the other two modes? or does it mean all sliders will be turned off or turned way down so the players are more dependent on ratings than sliders?

Also I wonder what they mean by authentic NFL gameplay? fumble snaps? more fumbles and turnovers? more inaccurate throws, will their be a bigger difference between good and bad Qbs? Will the AI be smarter on both side of the ball?

My group tends to skip a few Maddens since they have a tendency to not really make much progress year to year, especially when it comes to franchise features. After Madden 2006 on the PS2...I've bought 4 years. They have so far missed out on 7 years of sales with me. Looks like they will be missing another year but we will see.

Im waiting to hear about pass blocking and pass rushing before I decide to buy or not, if it's another year of pushing two buttons and defensive ends getting sucked into and stuck on blocks, then its a no buy for me.

How do you know frostbite is a minor improvement? So far improvements have been made graphically and the engine has allowed for weather improvements (which could be game changing) and stadium upgrades.

Not to mention a whole new game mode. Story mode. That is only in the game because frostbite allows this type of storytelling.

They also added the new passing mechanic which allows for the ball to be placed exactly where the user wants it to. Could frostbite have a role in that mechanic as well? Maybe true ball physics or something of the sort?

Too early to dissect for me.

I'll wait for the videos and blogs to come out.
