Sorting is a Real Pain

New to DD this year and I have to say that sorting through the cards is a real pain. There's no way to sort by name, certain attributes, career stats, etc. All we get is the standard card view which is really clunky...and of course very slow.

When putting together your squad, you can't even sort by team...which makes completing certain missions even more of a chore.

Seems like it could be greatly optimized.

Otherwise, love the mode and hope to see some improvements in this regard next year.

Navigating through the menu designs especially during the peak times with the long loading circles is like a mission in itself. I hope in one of the future installments the developers add in more convenient ways to sort and navigate through the menus.

Agreed. Even just trying to go from SP to 2B takes almost a full minute. Haven't these guys played Madden and seen how to create a drop down position list when flipping through rosters? Would save a ton of time for everyone.

He means exactly what he said. Like for the Cruz breakout program you needed a walk, homer and 6 rbi with rangers, so I filled my lineup with rangers, but I had to sort through all my cards position by position because there are no filters.

Oh right, I was thinking of the inventory screen.

Still not being able to sort by team doesn't seem like such a big deal. I like that it makes the cards the centerpiece of each player instead of just an after thought up in the corner. But I can see how people would prefer a drop down Madden style list.

Yeah it's rubbish to be honest. Having to search through your entire collection looking for breakout players, or players from a certain team, or anything else is an absolute chore. Throw in that the servers are so terrible that flicking between positions is an event in itself and the whole thing is a nightmare.

No idea why they don't have the search tool from the marketplace for team selection, it would be a hell of a lot easier

The same overlook as being able to pick 6 of the same player for exchange missions but you have to do it one by one when feeding your created player.

Does anyone have a trick to quickly find all of your All-Star or Breakout cards? Or is it just manual by team on the inventory screen, or theshownation.com?

One way to make it a bit easier is to let the cpu generate your lineups using inside edge (as it will put the players with mod boosts in your lineup/rotation) and then look for players you would want to swap. Like I've been trying to finish the Jim Palmer mission (40 K's with Palmer as a RP)... he's rated a 75 so I gotta search every time for him. Not an easy fix, but is def helpful when putting your lineup together daily, if you change things up more often than not. I would LOVE to be able to sort by name, but the ratings way isn't too bad (as long as you know the base rating for the player you're looking for) hope that helps.

They really need to do something about the servers. They are SOOOO SLOW when switching positions. And the in game lag online has cost me several losses... you'd think with as great as the rest of the game is, they'd have the servers ironed out by now... if CoD, or other major online play could have smooth play, they'd be abLe to get you through an inning without having your pitcher/batter freeze momentarily which can sometimes be VERY costly in close games...
