Honestly, I think it has to do with the larger issue of sports gaming just being less-and-less interesting with each passing year (due to the lack of competition and frankly, just the lack of titles released period). Also, some natural turnover over the years is to be expected. Life happens.

But anyway....Nashville in 7 games. Pittsburgh's luck has got to run out at some point.

I guess? Looking back, it seems the hockey forums were pretty strong through the 2013-14 season, then dropped off a cliff. The 2011 SCF thread alone had nearly 1000 posts, haha.

I think people just don't have anything to say anymore. Can't be bothered to say anything here or anywhere because we realize, for lack of a better way to say it, "lol nothing matters."

We just go on week to week, season to season, watching the same **** with nary a unique thought to cross our frayed wires. No purpose to post "omg goal!" or "sick catch!" or "damn what a pass!" just because something supposedly "happened."

I think people are somewhat "over" sports.
