If I'm throwing a slant, once I press 'B' to throw to my B WR, I'm not sure there's time to aim something after that before the QB releases the ball. Or maybe you meant "press B to bring up B's reticule, aim, press B again"? Sorry if I'm being confusing. I'm just curious.

EA has a conference on the 10th I believe, maybe we'll get lucky and see a live demonstration of it. I remember a while back they brought out Joe Montana to demo the Kinect voice commands, so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

No, no slow down. And, that's just it. It's hard to totally envision this as well because of how fast things gotta go. And, admittedly, what I'm talking about here, u could argue, is just a tweak on total control passing. But, now, instead of having a general idea of where you're leading the pass, right when u press the WR button, the icon pops up, and then u have like 1 second to whip it to a spot. And, while I know it sounds like it would be too hard/quick, if they start the reticle at the point where a normal throw would be (as opposed to right on your WR), and, of course, they make the reticle quick to move, u could have enough time to whip it a little left, a little short, a little back shoulder, or if u see it's a bad pass to make, maybe u whip it hard out of bounds or something.

Again, it may sound like there's not enough time, but I'm thinking there's just enough. And, I guess, a part of me thinking it's this way is that we have had icon pass buttons for so long, that I expect that to be a part of it. But, if they decided to untangle that specifically for reticle passing, then I guess I could see a reticule popping up right away, and as u go through your reads, u would constantly be moving the reticle. I think, in this instance, that reticle has got to be able to move, though, I think. So, that's another thing that I just want to see NOW!! Lol. The speed and movement of that thing is key. If it moves too slow, you're going to be yelling at your tv and chucking your controller across the room. But, if it's too slow, it might not help enough. And, throwing deep, this is so tricky with a reticle?? If you're throwing it 50-60 yards and maybe leading your WR by 20 yards or something, when/where/how the reticle is going to get there? Lol.

So, again, I'm just going to have to wait and see what it is, but I just can't stop speculating on exactly how they've implemented this. And, as much as I like and trust Rex's team, this is one of those 'madden new items' that u worry the implementation is terrible. Lol. But, it also sounds like u don't have to use it if u don't want to, so it's not going to break the game for me. But, I would like to utilize this type of functionality for some extra realism. Who knows, maybe it's just the vision cone? [emoji6]lol. [emoji33]

Oh, and specifically to your slant example. A slant would be hardest to utilize a reticule, period, I would think. But, what I'm saying, is that u press the B button, and of course, u can hold for bullet, or tap for lob, etc. Your QB winds up, now, even with a bullet, there is some time between button press and QB release. So, the reticle pops up right when u press button, and is available for a period of time dependent on your QB release. Perhaps, they can program it to maintain reticle just past your release. Your eyes wouldn't notice this, and the game still has enough time to adjust the trajectory of the ball right as it leaves QB hands or something. Again, I know it sounds like a short time span (and, it is), but if they tweak a split second here and there, I might be able to work.
