They still haven't made a Lebron card that accurately depicts his rebounding and shot blocking dominance seen in the playoffs. Seriously, go to 2kmtcentral and sort SFs by rebounding and there are nearly two pages of results before you get to Lebron. There may (probably?) have been better rebounding SFs than Lebron, but the guy led the Finals in rebounds and blocks last season. Neither his rebounding nor blocking atts are above 80 while a guy like Bird has 94s for rebounding and Giannis has a 95 block.
When you consider that they gave David Robinson and Kareem 3 balls (the ability shoot three pointers, not three testicles), it seems silly that they wouldn't give Lebron better atts for aspects of his real life game that are actually superb. -

It's crazy how they gave Lebron 4256 att points and it still feel like he's underrated in some areas.
Definitely agree with rebounding and block, perhaps BC as well. if we're to be realistic, I'd bump down his contested 3, post hook, and defense slightly but definitely bump up those aforementioned areas.
I can't wait for a Diamond Draymond and KD to come out, a Diamond Warriors big 4 with Lebron in the middle would be a hella fun small ball starting 5 to run with.Comment

His Heat card should have clearly been a Pink Diamond, a GOAT candidate in his prime, going back to back Finals MVP, but 2K has to hold out something so they handicap him. This system for cards has been garbage this year. They've backed themselves into a corner with a bunch of these releases and this is just the latest example. Players broke the moments system early and 2K has been scrambling ever since. Prime LeBron should be an end-game, 99 OVR, unstoppable God. Not some card you had to neuter in order to get him under 99 so you can still release his real God card. He averaged 10 RPG. 1.6 Steals. He's at worst the second best player of all time. 2K is drunk as usual. SmhComment

What are you talking about? Handicap, How? Y'all get caught up on card tiers and overall ratings to much. This card is arguably the best pullable card in the game. It crazy how y'all nip picking his rebound rating when he's ridiculous overrated in a few attributes that actually make a difference. This card is a end game, unstoppable God card.Comment

People said the same thing when the last LeBron dropped and he's been outclassed by several SF cards released since then. We want a true representation of peak LeBron. Anything less than Pink Diamond isn't it.

I will go out on a limb and say that there will be a Diamond Kobe with similar attributes as PD Kobe and better badging coming out tomorrow (because Warriors 4-0, Diamond KD and Draymond coming out Saturday) and will have DD with this Lebron. That's why we still see room for improvement for this Lebron card.

That would be a huge middle finger to those of us who collected the cards to get him. Sounds about right.
I'd rather see them not do that and see the Cavs win the next four games. Then give us a Diamond Majerle, Eddie Jones and Glen Rice.Comment

2K team is located by the Bay Area so they're naturally rooting for the Dubs. They received OP Heat Lebron after GSW went up 3-0 because Cavs Lebron won't be getting another playoff card.
I think a better defensive KD would be cool, but I definitely want a do it all Draymond with HOF defensive and passing badges.Comment

Dear lord, what I am expecting as the prime KD that we'll see is going to be outrageous. The existing Diamond doesn't even need offensive buffing, but I imagine his shooting will get maxed out and his Post Control and Post Fade will get bumped. He might get additional speed. Probably will get a Strength bump.
And the defense...I would imagine he gets Block in the mid-to-high 80s. And Contest in high 80's, low 90's. Should get a bump to all his DIQ ratings to the 90s. Rebounding improvements too.
Another way to look at it is that he will be, sort of, is a hyper-athletic Larry Bird. Only because 2K follows his officially listed height. If they used his real height, he'd basically be a Giannis with super-elite shooting and better handles.Comment

And I've been waiting for a high-end Draymond all year long, even though his uniqueness as a player, in real life, has been very much stripped away by the extreme lateral mobility they've given elite bigs in the game, as well as a big handful of them having high Speed and Speed with Ball.
Then again, maybe they keep Draymond special by upping the ante even further, so maybe he gets Speed just below 90. And, Speed with Ball up near 90 as well. And 90-something LQ to go along with elite Block/Contest.
Hope to see a blinged out Dray with HoF Dimer, One Man Fast Break, Rim Protector, Defensive Stopper, Brick Wall, and Bruiser.
Otherwise, in terms of Ratings, DI Bird is basically what one would want in a Draymond, plus the elite shooting and post game.Comment
