ALL AMERICAN CLASSIC STRICTLY STOCK NASCAR HEAT EVOLUTION RULES
Monster Energy Xfinity Gander Outdoors
All American Classic (AAC) thrives for competitive racing; challenging drivers to use strategy, focus, and fair play. AAC pays homage to the origin of NASCAR and looks to create an atmosphere for drivers to come together in spirited competition.
A. Overview
B. Qualifying
C. Races
D. Playoffs
E. Administrative
A. OVERVIEW
1. All Series, (ME, Xf, GO, Xtreme) follow the rules detailed below.
2. CLEAN drivers only. An accident is understandable, but purposely creating contact or wrecking other drivers is not acceptable. All races will be recorded on Twitch.
3. AAC Strictly Stock follows this rubric: 10 “regular season” races; ME, Xf, GO, ME, Xf, GO, Xtreme, GO, Xf, ME. 3 “playoff” races with a tournament style format; Xf, GO, ME.
4. The league will not hold a practice.
5. Drivers committed to the league will select an assigned driver/car number. Drivers may change drivers/car numbers (as long as it’s not already taken) or use a custom car.
6. All drivers may participate and compete in every race for all series. Drivers eliminated from championship are still eligible to compete for 5th place.
7. Races will follow a mixture of the old and new points system towards winning the championship.
8. AI drivers will “fill-in” for drivers not available to attend the race. Each AI driver will only receive ½ points for their respective finish in the race; lowest point total awarded is 1 pt.
9. Locations not used in the first 12 races (1st season), will be used for the next season. Races are 25% length with 3x Fuel and Tire Wear.
10. Custom Setups are NOT ALLOWED. Pit adjustments are authorized.
11. Headsets are optional, but strongly encouraged. Drivers that do not use a headset need to ensure they follow instructions of coordinating admin and follow race etiquette.
B. QUALIFYING
12. This will be determined by NHE setup. If the game supports online “franchise” then the qualifying settings will be announced at that time.
C. RACES
13. Stages are disabled.
14. Points are received for each race by order of finish, attendance, and laps led.
15. Each Driver that attends the race will receive 5 bonus points.
D. PLAYOFFS
16. Drivers must race in 8/10 and 6/8 races to compete for the championship.
17. Drivers that NO SHOW (no contact to an admin at any time BEFORE) any race will forfeit their chances to compete for the championship.
18. Any driver that wins a regular season race is locked into the playoffs.
19. The Championship will always be decided at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Charlotte (day) for season 1 and season 2 will be Charlotte (night).
SEEDING
20. 12 drivers qualify for the Chase Grid with 2,000 points, plus three points for each win earned during the first 10 regular-season races. After the bonus points for wins, stages, and bonus points for attendance are added, drivers are ranked in order of the reset points.
ROUNDS
21. Contender Round: The 12 drivers will battle at Kansas Speedway for the 8 spots available in the next round (Eliminator). A win at Kansas equals advancement into the next round. The rest of the field of 8 will be determined by order of points scored in the race. After this round, each advancing driver will be reset to 3,000 points.
Tiebreaker: If position comes down to a tiebreaker, qualifying position for the Contender Round will determine the winner.
22. Eliminator Round: The 8 drivers will battle at Texas Motor Speedway for the four spots available in the Strictly Stock Championship. A win guarantees advancement into championship round. The rest of the field of four will be determined by order of points scored in the race. After this round, each advancing driver will be reset to 4,000 points.
Tiebreaker: If any position comes down to a tiebreaker, the finishes of the Contender and Eliminator Round will decide. If two drivers have the exact same finishes, the tiebreaker then goes to the driver who scored the best qualifying time in the Eliminator Round.
*Contender and Eliminator Round locations will be determined at the start of Season 2.
ALL AMERICAN CLASSIC NASCAR STRICTLY STOCK CHAMPIONSHIP
23. The final race is all about order of finish. No bonus points for laps led, etc. The four finalists will start the race tied, and the highest finisher among them at Charlotte Motor Speedway will win the All American Classic NASCAR Strictly Stock Championship.
Points note: Bonus points for laps led will still be awarded in the Contender and Eliminator Rounds. However, in the NASCAR Strictly Stock Championship, the four drivers will start the race tied and there will be no bonus points for laps led, etc.
24. Drivers who don't advance to the next round will have their point totals reset to the Chase-start base of 2,000 (with any regular-season wins bonus points), plus the additional points they've earned during the Chase. This is the battle for 5th place. A driver eliminated in the opening Contender Round, for example, can still finish ranked higher than someone who just misses the Championship Round cut.
E. ADMINISTRATIVE RULES
25. Aggressive Driving may result in point penalties, suspensions, or removal from the league(s). Admin’s discretion.
26. There will be no tolerance for racial slurs, demeaning, and/or “bullying.”
27. Drivers that lose connection will receive a DNF; however, will still receive 5 bonus points for attending race. To prevent disconnection, hardwiring PS4 is recommended. During playoffs, drivers that lose connection while competing will fall under this rule.
28. Admin have all rights to determine or adjust administrative rules based on situation.
