Dropping a current player and legend per day would have been sweet. Of course, to ever consider something like that, 2K would have to be certain their legends were properly addressed and taken care of. I reckon that's not the case. I hope there's at least been some progress, or a game-wide jersey tech improvement that extends beyond just the new Nike jerseys. It'd be cool to be able to use the 1989 Pistons in their real uniforms.Comment

I hope so.
I can't sit here and say no progress was made as far as legends go last year...
but there's a lot more that needs work.
The body type fix will allow me to play with guys like Gary Payton again. That HS body they gave him just wasn't a good look.

I gave up with even trying to entertain the fact legends would get any love. The cyberface improvements weren't enough for me to keep 2k17 - all the legends felt totally generic, absolutely zero signature celebrations or moves to differentiate them from standard players. Didn't help that they took out the copious amounts of custom dribble moves that were in '16 - they may have been canned, but at least I could make players 'feel' individual with their own moves.
I don't hold any hope for this years game either. I think the time of focusing on legends died with 2k12.
I'll more than likely stick with 2k16 again unless we get any positive news.-----------------------------------------

DAVEBERG!!!!! It's been a year dude!! I've been waiting to see a post from you. I knew I'd find you in this thread!!
On topic, thus far I am impressed with 2K pics this year. So I'll tread with cautious optimism as far as legends LOOKS go for now. Body types I'm thinking will almost certainly be better...... but the rest of the way (faces and signature stuff) I'm feeling the same as I have felt since this gen launched......
But I am enjoying the fact that we're at this time of year again - where I can blissfully hope that "this is the year".......Comment

Kinda tradition for me to crawl out the woodwork around about this time of year, to see if I can sniff out any new info on legends!! Good to see you man, hope you're good!
Still gleefully playing 2k16, I just couldn't get on board with 2k17, they dropped so many things I liked, I just wasn't enjoying it. Just finishing up yet ANOTHER season with Jordan and the Bulls, lol.
Shall look forward to the frenzy that'll whip up around here over the next couple of months!-----------------------------------------

This will be my first year playing on the current systems. I've been playing on PS3 and those games at least had a decent amount of signature moves. I'm going be really disappointed if the game has no signature stuff for legends.
