Could 2K be the new kings of petty?

So, as you all know NBA Live will be dropping a gameplay demo this Friday. I may be cynical or just overthinking this. I feel like 2k would be petty and drop their first 2k18 trailer the same day. I do think its very likely that 2K would do it, sort of a subtle way of putting Live in their place

If they do so, it wouldn't be petty per se. It would be a business decision, in the first.

I wouldn't be shocked at all. I don't see it as petty, I see it as good competition. Something we all need as basketball fans.

Could not care less about a trailer that will probably show pregame animations/canned animations for the full 45 seconds, when there is actual interactive gameplay to be played.

Being petty would be dropping a surprise demo the day of/before.

To be honest, it'll probably be when the trailer would've dropped anyway. I'd call it a wonderful coincidence and enjoy the best of both....

so its very likely something like that will happen

All I've heard for 4 years is "2k needs competition they're getting lazy blah blah blah", so here's the competition, and that's how you compete.
