That one thing that has always stuck out like a sore thumb and bothered me about Madden (and NCAA) once they jumped to the PS3/PS4 was the throwing motions. Look at the way Drew Brees looks in that picture throwing the ball. What QB has the ball pointing like that as they're in their windup to throw the ball. As a kid at Quarterback camp you were always taught Point Down/Point Back, that was the motion. Never was it, Point Sticking out so it's an easier target to hit. Google pictures of quarterbacks throwing a football and you'll see the ball in 1 of 2 positions for 95% of the pictures, Point Down Chest High, or Point Back Arm Back lead arm bent in front. Yet this motion in Madden, combined with the awkward stepping motion, leads to such an ugly throwing motion in the game.
