Is the Defense Broken??
On about three plays in one quarter now, the CPU offense has had huge passing plays, while my Defensive back literally just stand in his original spot in a crouched position. This was in man overage. He didn't move at all.

Roethlisberger just went 33 for 35 for 541 yards, 5 TD. I play simulation, 15 minute quarters default sliders. I couldn't do a damn thing against him. -

Re: Is the Defense Broken??
I'm gonna ask a dumb question - which player were you controlling? Because on the settings that I'm using, the CPU does not control the highlighted player at all like it used to if I don't do anything. He will just stand there and not move. This is new behavior for '18, and I believe it plays into their "year of the user" philosophy.
Holding L1 after the snap will give the CPU control of the highlighted player. Alternatively you can turn on coach mode from the main menu settings (it will carry over to CFM if you do) and the CPU will control all players including your highlighted one if you don't take control - even the QB.
Maybe there's a legit bug there. But since this is something that's new in '18 I felt like I should point it out, since people might not be aware of it. I found out the hard way in my first game by having my MLB just stand in the gap while an RB ran by for a touchdown...lol.Comment
