Title update?
I purchased the GOAT edition and started playing on the 22nd. Now a week later it's downloading an update (1.01). Not sure if this a new patch or it was a release day patch that was for disc only and just now digital versions are getting it.

Re: Title update?
I have asked the same thing for the 3rd time about the formations. Not only did they pull the option to edit generic playbooks which was doable in 17. I am seeing formations in playbooks that you can't find in the formation list when you make a custom. I am in the same boat you are. -
Re: Title update?
1.01 is the current version, that all digital copies had rolled into their pre-load. Not sure why you'd think you're just getting it now.
I'm on PS4 if that makes a difference, although I'm pretty sure XBOX has been on 1.01 since release day too.Comment

Re: Title update?
They got more patching to do. I am on the PS4 also. I had to delete a whole custom playbook because its like all the formation was rolled up into a ball and the play call screen was blank.Comment

Re: Title update?
Try checking something for me. Do you actually have a progress bar on what you say is downloading, in your notifications section? Because if not, then you already have it downloaded and installed.
1.01 shouldn't be currently downloading for anyone, because it was rolled into the full digital copy before release (it's the version Millennium was playing on his streams a few days before GOAT launch date). There hasn't been another patch since. That's why I'm confused here.Comment

Re: Title update?
Yes I have the progress bar. It just finished downloading and installing. It just says stability improvements. So it doesn't sound like a new update. Just a little baffled as to why I am getting now.Try checking something for me. Do you actually have a progress bar on what you say is downloading, in your notifications section? Re: Title update?
Yeah, that's pretty unusual to be able to download an unpatched digital version. It's usually impossible to do once title updates have rolled out for a game.
But yeah 1.01 is the current version so you're playing the same thing as the rest of us now.Comment

Re: Title update?
Speaking of patches, I haven't played a Madden game in years, so I was very surprised to see Madden now has accessible features for people who are vision impaired! I read that with the first patch, there will be an added rumble feature that will help me know which play I picked, as well as the kicking plays! I will be getting this game soon. Vets on here know me as the mlb the show visually impaired guy, so after reading about Madden, I reached out to the show team to give them some ideas for future accessible features I think would be a great help to those with vision loss. Great stuff!1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

Re: Title update?
I've been fairly critical of EA the last couple releases, but it is really good that they invested in this area. Last year they had a blog article that detailed some of the improvements like high contrast mode, larger lettering on UIs, and the ability to enhance the UI for visually impaired folks.Speaking of patches, I haven't played a Madden game in years, so I was very surprised to see Madden now has accessible features for people who are vision impaired! While EA gets some flak for some of the design decisions, it's good to see this even as someone whose not mobility or vision impaired, so a nice add and kudos to EA.Comment

Re: Title update?
Hi everyone, I'm the one behind the accessibility features in Madden. Let me know if there is any other changes you'd like to see that would help unblock people from playing the game.
Thanks,

I was stating that they need to do more patching.
