This year, are we able to edit players gear, shoes, or animations just like 2k? Any news on this?

Tried to watch the video but the guy was being loud and obnixous. Anyways it's really frustrating that they still didn't include roster editing again despite working on the game for 2 years. Not gonna lie I'm leaning towards canceling my preorder because we tell them to include this feature ever since they went next gen.

Wonder if we can at least edit it in Franchise mode, will check when mine boots up.

I'm looking through the various streams, but I'm not seeing the option so far. Franchise mode is predicated on upgrading your players based on their play it seems -- very similar to Madden in that respect.

Crossing my fingers that it's in there somewhere. I haven't seen the option for 30 team control either, but player rotations and trades are there, so at least there's that.

Not to be a dick, but having player rotations and trades are literally the bare minimum requirements of a franchise mode. It's sad that having them is worth mentioning for Live. I was hyped for this years version, but they just keep shooting themselves in the foot

Steve OS tweeted that it might be added through a patch, guess ill be buying the game once they released that patch.

No, totally agree -- basic features like that are the low, low bar Live has to clear. Their lack of roster editing and complete lack of information on Franchise mode at all is very disappointing.

As much as I want Live to do well enough to get another game, I can't support them leaving out such basic things -- especially when they've been totally radio silent on the matter. It says to me they knew it was going to be a big deal but instead of owning up to it, they tried to bury it.

Not a good look. We'll see if they end up patching it in.

In all my years of playing EA basketball games going all the way back to Lakers vs Celtics I might add. When they have been quiet in the past it has almost always meant that it probably won't be in the game. Can't say I'm surprised at all.
