Let's be clear, 2K has never had a CAP system this bad

In my head I'm going back to NBA 2K2, and it's never been this bad. Except for the year it was nonexistent.

What? Just saying is that there is another thread open about this discussion where this post should.. I completely hate that CAP system downgraded, one of my favorite features of NBA2K was the custom draft classes. So the fact that they removed some of the CAP features sucks but it should be in the other thread.

I've posted on that thread. This thread is different because I'm comparing this CAP system with past systems I've experienced after being a loyal, loyal customer of this company since 2K2.

And having posted on this forum for almost as long, trust me when I say that over aggressive thread policing is one way that criticisms of companies is mitigated and minimized on this forum. The CAP system is bad that it should be talked about in more than one location (that will conveniently slide off the first page)

I have to agree the CAP is really really bad, for me custom roster and draft class creation is pretty much Death now as I simply cant see myself make realistic looking players with this at all there is hardly any customizing

Seriously though, NBA 2k has never had a good CAP system. The only thing worse about this one is the fact that 2k is nickle and diming you at every turn. Other than that its the same as last gen 2ks. 2k15-17s CAPs looked like freaking cavemen. I'll take a bunch of look alikes over a league full of cavemen any day. This years CAP system is garbage but at at least the CAPs look like homo sapiens.

Its beyond me why 2k seems to be incapable of making a decent character creator. ****ing FIFA 2010 is better than nba 2k18 in this regard.

I really don't understand this decision. Maybe it was a memory issue?

10 years into My league we might not have any mutants but we will have identical players on every team smh.
