I'm just noticing that the "Beast" of Hot Shots Golf, ELPRESADOR, does not yet own Everybody's Golf for the PS4!? I get as much of a kick watching ELPRESADOR play the Hot Shots Golf games on YouTube, as playing them myself I may just gift him a copy of the game and let nature take its course.

Check this video out if you've never seen ELPRESADOR 'work his magic'... he doesn't need a script. WARNING: ELPRESADOR uses a lot of 'colorful' language, and this one would be "R" rated as a result.

I'm not playing this game for anything other than the fun factor. I don't care about leveling up quickly or beating best scores or anything of the sort.
The game is a great pop in and play game.

Amen - right on the money!! And Bases Loaded Baseball was great!

I believe it was in the pause menu while online. I think it was under Data or something like that. It was a really hard menu to get to because you have to choose the course (and in/out), the play type (9-hole or 1-hole), the hole, and the date. Navigating with the buttons was hard as well because sometimes you had to use the D-pad and sometimes shoulder buttons, stuff like that.

I see 2 of the old courses from Hot Shots Golf 2 and Hot Shots Golf 1 are available for DLC. One is 4.99 and the other is 6.85. It's neat they have old courses but these courses are already on the game, you're basically paying to unlock them. That's a bit extreme IMO. You should be able to unlock them. I do appreciate them bringing back old courses though... But not for a price.

Just had something interesting happen.

I ended up getting Ryoko as my Special VS Character for the day and we played on Green C.C (one of the DLC Courses). I am curious if you will always play her Special VS Match on that course or if it's dependent on you having the DLC...

For anyone trying to complete your fishing encyclopedia it looks like the DLC courses have their own species of fish too. I am not sure if they tie into the trophy or not though (I would hope not...)

This is another great iteration of a fun series of golf games; I go all the way back with Hot Shots, cuz I'm ollllld.

Bright and vibrant, VERY Japanese, and just exudes fun much like a AAA Nintendo first party title does. Very easy to recommend to people, especially non-gamers to get them into gaming.

Still love me some TGC2 and Rory's EA game, but great golf games can come in all flavors and excel at certain things and Everybody's Golf is just another fun golf game for a different style of golfing fix.

Another bonus is I got EG for my wife as well (actually ninja'd it on to her PS4 digitally while she out of town via some PS4 card codes I bought to surprise her) and we've been playing some matches together.

Hopefully they'll release some more courses down the line as well to keep it fresh.

So the game does load faster on the Pro versus the regular PS4.

On the Pro, I can get up to seven "practice shots" during loading. On regular, I can get up to 8.5 of them.

That obviously doesn't mean much, just stating it is all.

I really love this game.
I never knew golf was so popular in Japan. When I go to an online course it is usually at least 90% Japanese players on it, which I find really cool.
The only complaint I would have so far is that chip in's are way to easy to hole out.
