I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking (based on your finish in the last race), if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Finally, don't forget to have fun.

I'd sure like to see a few more join this next season. We're barely going to get to the end with 10. This definitely helps keep NASCAR fun for me!

I guess you could call it that.

Everyone picks a driver each week and earn points based on how many points that driver gets in the race (minus playoff points).

We have a 36 race season and determine our champion by total points earned. We do not use the playoff system.

It's all done for fun as a way to keep each race interesting when watching on TV.

If you are interested in joining, I will create a thread looking for interested people to join sometime in early Feb. 2018. (That is if I'm allowed to run it again next year lol)

          Hope this answers your questions!

Agreed. It seems like this group continues to dwindle, just as interest in NASCAR dwindles. I enjoy making picks and watching races, but this year has been tough. Maybe it's knowing that my favorite driver is done after this year, and I don't feel much passion for any of the other drivers right now, plus JR has raced this season like he didn't want to be here in the first place. I would recommend for the fantasy league, that maybe going back to how NASCAR does the point system currently would be good, just to keep people interested the whole season. Being in a position since the halfway point, where I had slim to no chance to make a run at the championship, dampens the fun, but I'm just speaking for myself on that part.

I completely understand (Dale Jr is my favorite driver as well). I'm not sure who to root for going forward.

As far as the way we setup the point system this year, I just was trying something more simplistic and it seemed there were a decent amount of people wanting to go back to a points only competition (I could be wrong) since last year.

This is only my second year with you guys and I've really enjoyed this league. I'm all for looking into all possible options for how we should handle the points for next season. We can get an idea what everyone is wanting and make a decision next February.

Hopefully we can have at least 20 people in the league next year so we could do a Top 12 playoff or something close.

For sure man, there is nothing wrong with trying something new. I could be the minority with my opinion on the scoring. The scoring system itself will not stop me from participating. Just throwing out a suggestion is all.
