Badges for Players on All-Tme Team?

Did someone fall asleep at the wheel when adding badges to the legends on the all time teams? Some legends didn't get appropriate badges on the all time teams. 99 Kareem has 5 badges. 98 Shaq has 5 badges. 97 Iverson has 9, 96 DRob has 3, 95 Pistol has 3. Their lower rated clones have alot more badges. Where is the logic?

Here's one for you: All-time Cavs Kyrie only has bronze Deep Range Deadeye and bronze Midrange Deadeye. Let that one sink in.

For comparison sake, his is how they badged out the high-end Kyrie for MyTeam in 2k17. They always go overboard with badges and ratings in MyTeam, but there's got to be some middle ground. Not even bronze Ankle Breaker for all-time Kyrie?!

Ugh. I just watched a video showing the rosters and noticed this. So many players on the all time teams have next to none. Kevin Johnson with 4, Mark Price with I think 5. Though the 90 cavs version has 17? It would be fine if they were going to patch an update, but I can't recall *ever* seeing any further changes made to non current players after release.

This is what happens when legends are just shoehorned in, in a 'well at least you have them so be grateful' aspect.

Roster editors are going to have their hands full this year.

Roster editors are going to have their hands full this year.

I'm so glad you announced this. Jermaine O'Neal had zero badges, and I believe that was the year that he was in MVP discussions. On the other hand, Jalen Rose was straight blinging gold badges, lol. In my mind, I don't recall Rose every being that good.

I was super disappointed, as classic players don't seem to get changed after release. I'm thrilled you guys aren't going to let this just slide. It means a lot to some of us.

I just PM'd Bedwardsroy19* to note that, in MyTeam, they need to re-evaluate the badging of two of the Amethyst Rewards for completing Domination: Amethyst 91 OVR Ron Artest and Amethyst 91 OVR Antonio McDyess.

With all three of them, it's very obvious that they used their best versions in 2K17 as the template. With some minor tweaking, the Ratings are the same.

And, most tellingly: the Personality Badging is exactly the same.

And, in this regard, there's an obvious mistake: Ron Artest does not have Defensive Stopper. If Ron Artest doesn't have Defensive Stopper than outside of maybe 10 other players in history, nobody deserves to have Defensive Stopper.

But 91 OVR Amethyst Fat Lever does, in 2K18 MyTeam...as did 91 OVR Amethyst Fat Lever did in 2K17 MyTeam.

Probably have to relax a little. The game isn't even supposed to be in stores until midnight tonight, I believe? I'd think within a week, though.
