Week 2: Dallas Cowboys (1-0) @ Denver Broncos (1-0)
3:15 game. Was hoping this was going to be Romo's first National CBS game for him to call back when the schedule came out, but looks like it'll be on Fox with Buck and Aikman.

Re: Week 2: Dallas Cowboys (1-0) @ Denver Broncos (1-0)
I see this game going very similar to the Giants game. Low scoring with Cowboys dominating the time of possession.
Losing Scandrick for this game hurts but if the DE's can get to Simien they should be able to force him into some bad/rushed throws. The young guys in the secondary are getting their chance, it's time for someone to step up. Byron Jones strained his groin so I'm not sure if he's going to play. Even if he does though how effective will he be? So Woods needs to be ready, Frazier too.
On offense the formula stays the same. Pound the ball with Zeke and play ball control offense. Wear them out with the run. They're a really good defense but they're a small defense. The OL needs to lean on them and wear them out. Dak will protect the ball and won't throw the ball up for grabs against probably the best secondary in the NFL. This could be a game where Beasley really goes off. He's going to be singled all game and I trust his ability to get open. Witten should also have some good opportunities. Dez and TWill (or whoever plays in his place) will have a rough time in this game. -

FOX would never give this game to CBS and I don't think those flex options happen until towards the end of the year.Comment

I heard the Cowboys are not eligible to be flexed this year because they are already playing the max number of Nationally televised games.Comment

I don't mean flexed to a prime time game. I don't know exactly when it started but in the last few years there have been some games that would have been traditional CBS games or FOX games that were flexed to the other network in one of the Sunday day slots.Comment

Yes they can steal a game, but the networks can protect a game each week. They call it cross-flexing, not sure if it has any set time period but I think it last the whole year, but with limited number of flexes. Some games have already been flexed.

Cross-flexed, not Sunday night flexed. Cross-flexed is moving a game to another network when the double header network isn't showing the game at 4:15.
Seahawks vs Giants and Vikings vs Panthers will be on CBS.

I believe last year was the first time they started cross flexing games.
Took me awhile to get used to seeing an NFC matchup on CBS outside of Thanksgiving.
