Hogan is impressing me at QB.

Good pocket awareness and good at going through his progressions.

Marshall Yanda left the game with what looks like a lower leg injury.

He limped off but this could be a huge injury depending on how much time he misses.

I disagree with the decision to put Kizer back in. Hogan gave you ten points and moved the ball against this defense, yes he threw the bad pick but he was doing a good job.

Last week I was starting to buy into the Kizer hype that they finally found a serviceable QB in the draft with a fair showing against the steelers defense. This week I have completely abondoned said hype after seeing what Kizer was able to do versus what Hogan actually did.

You are funny. Of course using my eyes is fickle. Get over yourself. Kizer struggled but had an NFL worthy performance week 1 against the steelers defense, he made Corey Coleman look legit against a strong defense. However watching him struggle against the Baltimore defense, have him sit because of a migraine and the backup comes in and drives down the field with relative ease. How is it fickle to think that a decent performance against a solid defense wasn't simply a fluke. It's not like I'm saying I thought that he was taking the browns to the promise land. I guess it's bad that someone can actually admit making a mistake in buying into the hype of a player after one performance. No that TOTALLY makes me fickle.

                  You are awfully defensive man.

After week 1 you say you buy into the hype.

Not even through with week 2 you say you completely abandon the hype.

                  That is fickle dude.

I didn't say I BOUGHT into the hype, I said I started to. I thought he was going to be another subpar Browns QB and I expected them to get smashed by the steelers defense but even with as many sacks and an int with constant pressure. With a 66 completion percentage, 222 yards, a td, 4 20+ yard completions. Call me stupid for thinking that it looked serviceable for a first start. Then you have this game where Hogan who looked eh last season comes in and drives down field with ease...tell me what you take from that.

So excuse me for getting defensive when I don't appreciate being accused of being fickle when I use my eyes and logic to come to conclusions.

My advice, which you are free to ignore and even question my audacity for saying so, but maybe stop coming to such conclusions after only one game or less?

lol, maybe not. I mean the idea that it takes multiple games to gauge rookies is a bit daft isn't it?

You are arguing my use of conclusion as being a finality. Conclusion (also known as a position or opinion reached after consideration) can be reached with a fair idea taken from a performance (for instance Goff had a hreat outing last week but he also faced a weak defense so expectations should be tempered). Further I once never said I thought he was going to be great or that he would be a winning QB from a singular performance. Only that it seemed possible that he COULD be a NFL calibre QB that MIGHT put up decent performances.

I adhere to the ideal that 1 game does not a good player make, nor 1 good season does not a superstar make. That said believing in the POSSIBILITY (again not inevitability) that he could be a decent QB with a fair NFL performance against a strong defense isn't fickle when it is and attempt at assessing (again since I must point out in which way I mean it I mean to you, assess as in estimate) talent.

However calling someone fickle that someone could not have used the performance from Hogan to assess that it is likely the coaching not the player himself that resulted in week 1, does make you daft, but wait I just explained how I used more than 1 week to actually try and assess a rookie, oh my goodness you are correct I'm so daft. I do dearly apologize for posting my severely daft thoughts Lol
