And just like that another year has passed by us!

Fifa 18 does not work the same way as Fifa 17 did. There are maybe a few individual running animations and a few animations that needed to be tweaked via the gameplay sliders to make it feel and look like PEZ 2018!

Here is the set

Using these sliders I was Chelsea up against Man U. I scored 5 goals in the first 7-8 minutes.

Just looking at these sliders, like the sprint speed, and especially the run frequency and marking-sliders, and the first touch error-slider, it looks like you want this game to be way to easy for the user to play against the cpu, could aswell just play on amateur instead.

So there are specific reasons as to why the slider set is the way it is.(been making sliders for over a decade)


These sliders play off each other. I am trying to get the game to look more real by pushing one extreme and halting another and it works.


Give it a try if it doesn't work for you that's fine but I urge for you to watch the movement of the game as I try to mirror pro evolution soccer and real life with it

This is a promising set, although the difficulty level needs to be tweaked. The underlying gameplay exhibited from these sliders is a big improvement to FIFA's out-of-the-box settings because things feel much more organic.

That said, on Professional, it is far too easy: I was up 4-0 against Real Madrid playing as Sporting KC.

I bumped it up to World Class and was still dominating 3-0 in a Manchester United/PSG match that should have been more balanced.

So, next step will be to try Legendary to see if that improves the balance. Otherwise, may have to go back to World Class and perhaps increase the CPU marking and run frequency to something like 20 while lowering the CPU first touch control error to something like 80.

This set tweaked ever so slightly and set to World Class equals nail biting close finishes and amazing gameplay!
