I play week 4, 8, 12 and 16 full games. Sim preseason and the rest of the regular season. Recently i have been playing the moments in the playoffs while increasing the difficulty.

I play the full game.

Every now and then I will start a dynasty where I will try build an 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens defense and play only defense.

I choose full game but I sim about half of the other team's possessions.

I love the fact they added in the option to play all the offensive snaps last year, and that's what I've been using since Madden 17. I loved the offensive coordinator option in NCAA Football 14, and love what is basically the same thing here. So, I just use the "play all offense" option. Went through 11 seasons that way in Madden 17, and I'm on my fourth season in Madden 18. I love it!

Same here. I may start doing the same thing on Madden 18. I do miss NCAA Football 14 because of that feature. You sound like you do the same as I just draft and sign FA's for the offense and hope for the best.

I am the opposite. I want my decisions as gm to count more than my stick skills and madden abilities.

When Madden 17 was initially being rolled out, I was pleased enough with the improvements the game had made since M12 to buy it. What surprised me was the way that they pushed the Play the Moment feature so hard. In fact, I almost click on it by mistake on M17, since it is such a big icon. Why spend so much time as a development team investing resources to make the game better and then have a feature that basically allows you to simply play a moment here and there?

I do get it. Some folks want to just play offense or enjoy the management aspect of the game more so than the actual gameplay itself. However, to fully appreciate those play the moment plays, it is my strong opinion that you have to also experience the grind of setting up those moments. To me, Play The Moments is like going on vacation, when you don't have a job in the first place. It's all the hard work that allows for the excitement of the payoff. To each is own.

I do 6 Full games and 10 Play the moment games. Gets the season done faster.

Strictly 100% POTM for me. Reasons, Because I am far more into team development, drafting, creating game plans, and doing what a coach truly does. Stand on the sidelines and call the plays. Strategy, watch it play out before my eyes, But now and then, I don't agree with the play call, so I want to use my own influence.

Second reason. Because of my age and my limited ability with my hands. Author is not my friend. If I had to do an entire game of thumb jockeying, I would be in quite a bit of pain and only be able to get one game in. So for me, POTM is the best of both worlds.

Now if it would just quit crashing now and then.

I tried PTM the last two years but get quickly fed up with the poor FG/XP and rushing results.

I prefer playing Full Game. At first when I got this game I Played The Moment each game, but for some reason (idk if it was the slider set I was using, but I think this also happened to me with default sliders cuz I restarted several franchises) but as the Raiders, the Play The Moment mode had them run the ball like 75%+ of the time, EVERY GAME.

I mean I don't mind seeing Beast Mode gain so much yards but I wanted to play true to how they play in real life and they're not a run heavy team. I tried tweaking the schemes too and even on Vertical Passing scheme they were still so run heavy. Same with simply simming a whole game, I'd be in week 5 and Carr would have like 2tds to 1 int so far in the season....so for now I just play the whole game (or at least all offense only) every game.
