2k19 wishlist ideas...I know it's early

I didn't see a 2k19 wishlist so forgive me if I'm cluttering up the joint

1) I think it would be cool to create warmups, or pick from a variety of presets. The old collared shirts the Bulls wore in the 80's come to mind immediately.

2) make it possible to customize overlays in lue of an actual TNT or similar presentation package. I'm thinking the ability to upload logos, etc like we can for the sideline ribbon boards. Also give us the choice of different score bugs so we can keep it fresh.

3) add a couple more arena announcers so we can have variety in the starting line up announcers.

I can’t help but think in any of these wishlist, those that involves VC gets prioritized.

More overall polish on the game. Less of these crazy bugs like MyPlayers getting deleted, etc.

Also, defensive players still get "sucked" or "warped" back into guarding position

* I'm almost sure I once played a game where if a player got injured, the next time he would show up wearing a pad on the injured arm/leg. I think it's a nice little touch that can add realism.

* Have players actually using the towels to wipe sweat off their face. And have players laughing and talking at the bench, especially if the team is winning and everyone is having a good time.

Man, I already wrote a huge wish-list for myleague. Can't wait to post it in the official thread. Don't know how well it will sit though.

My #1 wish is a game to be released without any glitches and less emphasis on VC (unlikely I know)

Every game I've ever played has had glitches on release. Every sports game I've played this year has had glitches on release. Madden, Live, 2K, The Show, NHL, soon probably FIFA. This is a pipe dream lol. Every game, particularly annual games, have things that play testers don't find. Just the way it is. In a perfect software development world, glitches don't exist. But the world isn't perfect. Less emphasis on VC would be great, though. But I don't imagine the higher ups that force the devs to put said emphasis in the game, would go for that.

1. Bugfixing and actual testing.

My wishes are coming from a straight sim/MyLeague standpoint. This year is the single greatest toolbox we've ever been given. I personally hate MyPlayer and online so I'd let any one else chime in on that but as far as MyLeague, just messing around with stuff you can make the game model basketball from any part of the modern era with the right sliders/rosters. We just need some tweaks.

Give us better control over face/body CAP stylings. I like that we can get different bodies now but we should be able to control every part of the body and layer hair.

We need passing packages for flashy passes the way we have dunk packages.

The audio needs an overhaul. There's nothing wrong with it perse but for atmosphere it could use better stadiu, sounds. There're some issues with the sound depth and it makes the crowds not sound as good as they could.


Need blocking charges and non shooting fouls in general overhauled so we get a better mix of fouls.

Continue to refine dribble/drive mechanics.

Let us contract the league.

Continue to refine GM AI.

Remove the story for MyGM.

Add in random traveling violations as a player begins a drive just like we see at least 3-5 times a game irl.

And make a slider for it as well. This way we can adjust to have a realistic amount of taveling violations per game.

Most turnovers are steals. This would help so much with that, and add an aspect of realism 2k has never had.

Personally I would like the overall atmosphere to seem more realistic, to me, the players just seem like hollow shells that look alright, but mostly glitch around when not being involved in an on ball play. This year in pre game shootarounds I've literally seen players just gyrate around like the horde of zombies from I Am Legend without shooting the ball.

I wish they would spend less time on these extra game modes & focus more on fluidity & realism of art & gameplay instead of these childish playground modes...
