Treon Harris completes miraculous playoff run, leads Dolphins to Super Bowl win over Packers
2017 Heisman winner Treon Harris is adding another trophy to his case: The Lombardi Trophy. After sneaking into the playoffs with a 9-7 record, the Miami Dolphins won three straight road games and then their first Super Bowl since 1974 as the 'Fins defeated two-time NFL MVP Michael O'Connor and the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl LV.
The former Florida Gator and #1 pick in the 2018 Draft, Harris led the Dolphins with 276 passing yards and four touchdowns en route to MVP honors.
Harris is very familiar and one of the more popular non-Huskies in the circles of this dynasty;
he topped UConn legend Josh Marriner to win the aforementioned 2017 Heisman, and his Gators fell victim to UConn in the 2017 National Title Game. On a lesser note, he also quarterbacked Florida when they lost the 2015 National Title Game against UCLA.
He is also, indirectly perhaps, the reason why Bob Diaco left UConn. His Dolphins beat London's Black Knights in the playoffs, forcing Marvin Lewis out of his coaching job, which would soon be filled by Diaco.
