Vikings Send QB Bradford to Tennessee
Vikings Trade: QB Sam Bradford
Titans Trade: RG Josh Kline, 4th Round Pick
The Minnesota Vikings are taking a big chance by dealing away veteran quarterback Sam Bradford. With Teddy Bridgewater finally looking healthy and ready to go, the Vikes have decided to commit to the young signal caller,
and they proved it by dealing Bradford to the Tennessee Titans. The Titans,
lacking a starting level quarterback after Marcus Mariota went down with an injury early in the season, decided to strike a deal for the former first overall pick, and they parted ways with one of their better offensive linemen in Josh Kline.
Kline should help keep Bridgewater off the ground, as well as helping running backs Dalvin Cook and LaTavious Murray get past the chains. However,
you have to wonder if the Vikings will regret this in the future if Bridgewater can't find a way to stay on the field. It's certainly a risky decision for the Vikes. For the Titans, it's a win-now move. With the AFC South looking very winnable, Bradford should help guide the young Titans to the playoffs.
