Top Rookies NOT created, Las Vegas Knights are in the created teams list.
All transactions done.
This is a work around roster for you to get started for opening faceoff of the 2017/18 season.
Please use Horizon.

Could you point me in the direction of a Horizon guide? I'm new to this :|

1) Download HORIZON ( better search for horizon no ads....it´s safer )
2) Format an USB stick on your xbox 360 , so you can use it as memory unit
3) Save a roster ( maybe NHL 15, or whatever ) to your USB stick.
4) Meanwhile download a roster set you would like to use on Operation Sports or a site you prefer. Unpack it and save it on your PC.
5) Start Horizon with your USB stuck into your PC
6)You will find your data on the right ( device explorer ->games )
7)Open up the save you would like : Games -> NHL 15 ->roster 1 (for example)
8) The OLD roster save will pop up (double click )
9)Click to contents, right click on the roster data and choose REPLACE
10)Choose your downloaded and unpacked NEW roster you would like to use and open it
11) There should be a message : "File replaced successfully"
12)Next click the red bar "SAVE, REHASH, RESIGN"
13) Another message should pop up
14) You´re finished, put your USB stick back into your console , start your prefered game and load the rosters into the game

First off this is the first time I have tried to do something like this, so use small words lol

My thought/understanding is that doing this would reshuffle the rosters to where players are now instead of where the game has them (from back in 2015) am I misunderstanding?

I followed your instructions, everything seemed to work out correctly, got all the messages you mention but it doesn't seem the rosters have changed. Is it just the attributes not the player locations that are different?

I'm old, and I'm slow, but I'm learning so thank you for any advice you have to offer

Reading other tutorials out there, trying different things. What does:

Invalid signature type detected for the loaded package. Halting reading. Please make sure the file is a valid xbox 360 xcontent package (live pirs con) mean?

Nope, same message about the file type...just in case let me walk through what I am doing, maybe I am making a basic mistake.

I DL your file, I have been using win zip to unpack the file (is there a better one I should use?) and then drop it on my desk top.

I am using horizon to open the roster file from NHL 15 (Xbox 360) that is on the memory stick. I can see the information (ID #'s) that I need on there, all good.

At that point I am trying to move the file you created into horizon, which is when I get the file error.

Again, thank you very much for your help, I'm sure it must be something I am doing wrong. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I´m focusing on NHL 15 and NHL 2K10.

Hello austrianredwing,

i try to open your OCT 7th 2017 roster in horizon, but i get an error mesage "invaild signature type detected fpor the loaded package..". I think the file is corrupted or so... With the sept. update i got the same error.
can u help?

Did you replace an existing roster save with this save on horizon?

I wanted to import it in nhl14, but i read that this is no possible, because of the different game id's.
so i will wait if someone can publish an nhl14update roster.
