The strike cancel's in UFC Undisputed we're Nasty. The strike cancels I used on people in that game made my opponents lose confidence in standing with me. Really you were able to get real creative with your attacks. Doing so you could throw off your opponents, blocks, counters, and ultimately timing.

The jumping switch kick for an example is a perfect strike to cancel. The animation already shows one leg lifting up before switching to the other. Imagine canceling that strike mid animations to another strike such as the hand plant body kick. That or cancel a spinning back kick to a leg kick.

The possibilities are endless according to whatever you vision in your mind to what you want to create. People are lucky EA UFC doesn't have ducking hooks in both hands. Strike canceling both ducking hooks in UFC Undisputed was the first kind of Headmovement in an MMA game.

With strike cancels you'll be catching people clean like Anderson did to Vitor with the front kick where Vitor thought the kick was going low but really it was coming high to his head.
