Embiid, Chandler sign new contracts

While there hasn't much noise happening in the NBA, two quite surprising deals were made just the end of this month, when two crucial players to their respective teams, signed off on new deals.
Joel Embiid has agreed on a new 3yr/$74.44M deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, that will keep on their books until the 20-21 season. Currently averaging 17.4 PPG to go along with 8.7 RPG, the center was questioned about his health, having only played 31 games in three seasons. However, he has started all the games for the Sixers this season (22) and doesn't look like stopping anytime soon. He himself has said that he is blessed to prove his doubters wrong and get the Sixers to the playoffs this season. "There have been bigs in the history who have struggled with injuries, but I am happy that the coaching staff and the fans really trust the process. I will give it my all so we make the playoffs."
Meanwhile, on the other side of things, the Denver Nuggets player, Wilson Chandler, has signed a new 2yr/$22.74M deal. While his numbers have dropped from last season (12.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG), he is a crucial part of the system, as he is shooting his career high currently in 3PT% and FG%.
The season is still in baby steps, but with a number of players in their last year of their contract, expect more movements by front offices.
