    Madden 18 CFM Injuries

So I just started getting into my Cloud CFM after the recent patches. I have to say I am surprised by the number of injuries. Even if I put the slider down to 25 or less I am still losing multiple players per game to multi-week injuries. And when I continue to the next week I've been putting the slider at 50 like Armor and Sword's sliders suggest and at least 75% of the league's teams have 10+ players with multi-week injuries.

I normally keep the slider at 40 when I play a game though. Still losing a ridiculous amount of players.

Anyone else noticing a slew of injuries? I've decided to keep the slider at 40 when continuing to the next week.

Actually I have found the injuries to be quite realistic this year. I leave the slider at 25 and have seen a decent variety of injuries which seems to coincide with what NFL teams deal with.

Is 25 the general consensus for the injury slider?

I have mine set at 23 right now. Anything higher i feel like every other play someone is going down.

25 is good for played games but will not create enough injuries league wide.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I've started adjusting the slider to 40 when I sim to the next week. I was doing it at 50, but the amount of injuries I was seeing league-wide was extraordinarily high.

I just played the Redskins and they were missing their top two RBs, top two QBs (funny they re-signed RG3), and a bunch of injuries to the defense.

              Sounds like the NFL.

Sort of. But not when most of the teams in my CFM are missing 10+ players to multi-week injuries. A lot of them being starters.

And that was only through the first 5 or 6 weeks. I since have adjusted the injury slider to curb the rampant injuries.

You should be seeing around 3 injuries per game per team (average of course, individual games and teams will vary), though of course of differing durations.

Just finished my preseason with injuries at 35. Have 4 guys injured for 3-7 weeks, and had about the same number of minor/single game injuries, so it seems about right. (Previous test franchise I did with the Patriots had similar results).

Plus, my clock settings still need some tweaking (was averaging 140 plays per game, and that was with virtually no two minute offense in a couple of them). Once I get my plays per game down into the 125-130 range, that would probably reduce overall number of injuries by 1.

Yep, my injuries have been similar to yours at 35 while using 10 minutes quarters, no accelerated clock. 50 is pretty much the highest you can use when you sim the week. The CPU teams will have 0 to 6 injuries in any given week.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
