There's much more than just the microtransactions that have made people critical of this game. Movement is better than it's ever been, but I wouldn't say "gameplay" as a whole is as flawless as many people are making out.
Not all of us need a 100% perfect game to enjoy it and I don't think anyone has called it "flawless". At least not that I've seen. The things you listed just aren't that big a deal to many of us and honestly, the only one I've even experienced in 75+ hours of offline-only play is the defensive settings not saving.

MyLeague does NOT have a story mode. That's MyGM.
