Free Throw got to get patched

Man this has to be patched. I miss half of my free throws in practice.yes are rating starts low but in practice when you get a good release you should hit 80%. I’m shooting 50% for the season and I only got half way to bronze. WTF

Free throws are actually good. Someone in another thread. I can't remember the name of it

I like the FTs as is. They're no longer true "freebies" anymore. Nothing worse than playing PNO and watching Shaq go 7 of 7 from the FT line.

They're a pain at the start, but I've got the gold badge now and I never miss. Doesn't really need patching, it's just a chore you need to grind through.

What does it say when you release ball what your percentage of hitting the shot is? What is your Free Throw rating? When you expect to hit 80%, then your rating should be 80!

No, Freethrows are finally fine, I got 80% even with Shaq and others the last years, it was way too easy...

After playing nba 2k2 on dreamcast, 2k18 free throws are super easy.

Leave free throws as is. It doesn't need patching.

In game the % are fine but I do agree about the practice drill in itself. I mentioned this in the how to get a badge thread but the current way to get Free Throw badge gold is flawed and favors slashers and bigs. If you're a sharpshooter or stretch big and your build is useless in the paint area you don't spend much time there and therefore you don't get many FT chances which means you don't get much chances to up your FT. The best chance you have is through the FT drill in practice but that drill blows, nothing more frustrating then doing that drill and you get the green release but it still bounces around the rim and you get 1pt instead of 3. I have it gold as a stretch big but I basically went on a massive stretch where I just stopped shooting and only attacked the paint, my shooting % took a big hit but I was getting like 10+ FT a game.

Yes, and to do that with shaq or other bad free throw shooters was very hard.

Please speak for the mode you play in. Its NOT ok in Mycareer. You start out as a terrible freethrow shooter, I was getting good releases and shooting 50%. When you get the badge u get better. Which i did. Good releases started to drop. After this patch its almost back to how it was before the FT badge.

Free throws should be the same as your mid range rating. It's not that complicated 2k.

I recommend free throw #28. I am shooting around 90-95% with it using it in Pro-am and mycareer.
