Do I need to start over myleague with new patch/roster?

I'm sorry if this asked. I asked this in the Q & A thread still waiting for a reply. Pretty straight forward. If I have a Myleague season started already and a new patch/roster comes. Would I need to start completely over to apply the patches.

For rosters I'm pretty sure I would have to start over, but not sure for patches.

    Thanks,

Rosters for sure but patches you don’t. They usually have it the patch notes weather or not you have to restart

        Rosters won’t apply.

        Patches will.

ACE updates applied in past, maybe different this year.

I thought this yr, you could even get roster updates thru a existing MyLeague, like for instance tuner updates, uniforms, even updated tendencies, and even be able to add a new player, that wasnt in the roster when you started your MyLeague or MyGM.
So is this not the case? I could have swore thats what I read on the MyLeague/MyGM blog they put on here before game came out. They made it sound like that anyway.

you can create a player, but you can't import one

Ok, thanks, I probably just read it wrong then. As far as tendencies updates, tuner updates, uniforms, court updates, that now gets updated in your already existing MyLeague? Or is that wrong also? Thanks

Yes for uniforms and I would imagine court updates. Not sure about the rest.

I can verify that shoe/uniform updates also apply to existing myGM/myleague saves.

Nah all the shoes apply, except the BBB's for some reason.

I'd wish someone from 2k would confirm everything that gets updated in MyLeague. I want to start a MyLeague, but Ive heard there is suppose to be a tendency update for teams, and I dont want to miss out on it, in case it dont get updated. I could have swore they said this stuff all updated in existing Myleague and MyGM this yr.

Be great if someone who does that tweeter thing, would ask Mike Wang or OG, or any dev for that matter, just to know for sure. I dont do the social network stuff.
