So what's going on with Season 2?

It's already 4 full days without supermax ranked games.

Noone really knows when the season 2 will start, how big will it be (weeks, months?), what difficulty settings will it be?

What will be the cap. Will there be any cap?

Are weekends included in gameplay? For real, this year myteam is SO BADLY designed... I am pretty sure, heads will roll, when the shareholders see the profits vs plan

Think they are either:

a) Waiting for the patch to drop

b) Adjusting the mode to include weekends

or maybe both

No I haven't. I have finished current domination and played 5 games at the first round to get Camby. I was discussed with 5 out and pro difficulty and played pno. However now that 5 out is out if weekends are included I might give the mode a try.

Doing Historic would be a big deal for you. In MT and maybe some players, of course, but mainly to get the end reward players...Penny and the others.

I know, but I get really bored playing cpu. Current domination at least doesn't require playing a special way to win free throws etc

You do realize that we are discussing that after 1 month of the release we are given the chance to play on weekends when last year and all years it was 24/7....

the first moment I saw the MyTeam 2K18 News in the blog I was like..."oh my god this is going to be awful"

I hope we get rid of the foul out trouble... not going to play until it's fixed .
Anyway that's typical 2K action - having a good idea to limit reach in fouls but in the end execute it poorly that every foul will count...

Easiest thing was that fould out should be at 4 fouls.

And this should be implemented at PNO too.

However in SS difficulty there is no incentive for reaching fouls as ball control is better
