Play of the Game shouldn't be from a losing team.
The "play of the game" is usually the CPU making a dunk. But usually, they lost the game too. Winning team should get the play of the game. Just a little rant and a little bit confused why they did this...Tags: None -

I disagree with this. It should be the best play of the game, regardless of the team.
One thing I will say is that I wish the play of the game and top plays would not always be dunks.

For me, if it's not some generic dunk as the #1 play, it's a random 3 pter.Comment

Hmm. I'm not sure if I agree. To each his own. I never have seen a 3 pointer replay in about 40 hours of playing. I think if it's a close game they should show the winning shot if it's close game. But again, just my opinion.Comment

it isnt always dunks. I've seen step back threes. or flashy passes for open 3's to win the game.Comment

The play of the game should be the best play of the game, regardless of who won

As a thought experiment, let's say the team that won the game did it entirely with vanilla layup animations, but the team that lost the game featured a player with multiple amazing dunks.
The design team felt like Play of the Game should go to the losing team, regardless of the final score.Comment

Hey, knick9mm. You basically summarized the design philosophy behind the Play of the Game feature.
