Yeah Barnett's absence could really be interesting.. our pass defense statistics have been atrocious so far and Barnett is our second best corner. And with concussions, you just never know.

Newton has played well in limited action, but it remains to be seen how he'll fare against better wideouts. He's not like Kyler Parks or J.D. Rudie who are better suited for slot play, Newton's coverage skills may be a little better suited for the outside. He'll be tasked with guarding Fisher and possibly John Lake (98 speed) while Shav guards the All-American Young. My expectations certainly aren't tremendously high, so if Newton doesn't cost us the game, his day will be a success in my eyes.
