    Biblography of EA UFC devs

This is an akward question , but what bibliography did the devs use for boxing , strikeing? I mean what boolk tells the full boxing nechanic? From this stance the jab beats the upercut, etc etc? What book we should read? I mean the "atlas" of boxing, a full tutorial book Can the devs give us what they read to make the game? What is the theyry of boxing ?
extra questions .What books martial mind has read?

They train, Robin Black also taught them some good stuff. I learn by watching YouTube and reading articles, also I learn from posts here.

Robin Black himself has no extensive MMA background. Respect his ability to break down fights but getting a couple fights in in a school gymnasium against an opponent wearing cutoff jean shorts doesn't exactly make him a professor of combat sports.

First, Robin Black is glam rock.
Second, I know he was their for two days.
              C. He obviously knows some stuff.
              D. If GPD said he learned some great things on footwork and movement or whatever I'm inclined to take his word it.

Training first hand is of course the better option, but otherwise listening, reading and observing is the most important, even in training. Like everything, your comprehension of it will be as good as your ability to learn. How fast you learn depends on the individual. Some fighters would straight up su*k at teaching, nor would it mean they know the technique behind the sport their practicing by heart.
For most of them, it's just drilled in their body due to a big amount of training, but ask them to go in detail and they'll be clueless as to how to even approach someone and explain it.

If you have a knack for understanding, it'll show, if you don't, you better train, train and train. As in read, listen and watch. Same deal goes for practitionners, some just have a knack for it, others they put 3 times the hardwork to be at the same level as others.

There's no perfect textbooks, nor perfect gyms, or perfect individuals. Having a good eye helps a tremendous amount, and better yet is having the ability to comprehend what you see. A lot of people are pseudo-connaisseurs, but they've just been preaching what others have been saying in a podcast or some ****.

The best way to learn is to train, as mentioned already. I believe many of the devs train in kickboxing, bjj or both.

Obviously a video game cannot recreate EVERY nuance that exists in a real fight but they can implement the concepts that we see in high level fights.

No single book, lots of different sources.

I started collecting and reading articles as UFC 2 was winding down to try and get as educated as I could.

As someone else mentioned, we flew in Robin Black for a couple of days, and that was an awesome experience as well.

Every chance I had to talk to a fighter or trainer I'd ask a question.

                        We started training kick boxing.

But if you're looking for specifics, I'd recommend reading everything Jack Slack writes.

He has an e-book which is good, but every fight preview or fight breakdown he posts has something new you can take away from it.

Also watch as many breakdowns as I can online. I kind of like the Luke Thomas and Dan Hardy stuff the best.

Dan Hardy is gooood. I was very surprised when I first started paying attention to his color commentary during some Bobby Knuckles fight.

                          Hope he doesn't fight again.

Dunno about other people, but I've got 10+ years of kickboxing experience and about a year of very basic BJJ
