    OSFC 2017 - Miami (Race 36 of 36)

    Well, we made it!

It all comes down to the final race to determine this years champion....

Thanks to the 8 of you who stuck it out for all 36 races. It's been fun and I hope we can keep this going next year.

Also, a big thanks to Burghfan for handling the points all season.

Good luck in the last race of 2017!

I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking (based on your finish in the last race), if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Finally, don't forget to have fun.

I'm taking Truex Jr.! He's been the best in 2017, and hopefully he'll show that once again at Homestead.

I'll take Kyle Busch with the hopes that my curse this season strikes again.

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Since I'm out of contention anyway, gonna take my favorite driver one last time.

For our points, will drivers in the Championship 4 earn stage points even though they won't for NASCAR's official standings?

                    Stage 1: #2 2nd #4 4th #18 3rd #78 5th
                    Stage 2: #2 5th #4 3rd #18 4th #78 2nd

Congrats to Martin Truex Jr. and Thrash on the win!

Glad to see Truex win the championship. He deserved it after a great season of driving!

I'll wait to see how the points all played out, but I think I might have snuck it out......

I won the first and last race of the season....and pretty much stunk the rest of it! Haha

I'm very happy for Truex Jr. though! He was undoubtedly the best in 2018, and seeing the best hoist the Championship is always nice to see.
