In the day that I’ve fooled around with settings, I learned that there are two very important factors: game style and coaching adjustments.
Ironically enough, after going to Competitive, my sack totals went down from 8 a game to 3-4 a game against an average O-Line. I played a test game against Dallas (with no Chaz Green) and got two sacks out of 30-35 dropbacks.
The coaching adjustment is the obvious aggressive vs. conservative pass rush. Pros and Cons are pretty straightforward: QB has more/less time to throw, and as a result, is more/less accurate. Sack numbers are also fairly low on conservative.
