    Bring Back Live Broadcasts

I havent seen a post on this but I loved the live broadcasts in EA MMA. The live announcing and the whole community watching live PPV type events was so much fun. I dont think I ever got as amped to play a video game as when I had a live broadcast fight coming up.

Despite not having the fight card lobby as an in-game feature, I host fight cards that run rather smoothly at twitch.tv/UFC3FightCards

We'll be hosting them every Sunday night once the game drops.

Definitely agree man. One of my top 5 gaming moments was being in a Live Broadcast Grand Prix on EA MMA

I had a fight Frank Trigg announced lmao it was hilarious, i had a ton of fun

A tiny laggy of course but that was....2009?.....so by 2017 hopefully the infrastructure is there to support

If EA doesn't have the money/resources for it --- I certainly hope they hold a lot of in-game tournaments and what not, such as the LEC in UFC 2, but even more of them.

(Even if most of them aren't for real $$$ but rather in-game rewards....not saying we don't want to fight for real $$$ of course haha)

But as ZHunter said there are definitely leagues and twitch streams where the community puts together some fun stuff for sure, so chk those out if you haven't

I knew your name looked familiar lol. I used to watch some of your fights back then on EA MMA man. Loved watching you compete as well. There were some epic matches on there as well. Even went back some weeks ago on youtube and started re-watching some old ea mma events. That would be really cool to bring in.

My first fight during the Live Broadcast run, the first video on the channel. I've been looking for these for forever! Thank you.

This is where I showed the parry headkick cheese to the world.

ahhhh the glory days of EA MMA

It was a simpler time. Not necessarily a 'better' time though lol but still had so many fun matchups, and yes the Live Broadcasts were great to watch, I was only in one event but probably watched the first dozen or so from start to finish

(Oh and speak of the devil --- Frank Trigg is no longer JUST an announcer, he's also a REF as I'm sure some of you saw on the UFC card this past weekend hahaha)

This was one of THE BEST options in any UFC game. Sometimes they had prizes, had a fighter (forget who) in there commentating before was awesome.Having a live PPV with live commentators and having all the ppl watching were good times..

Live broadcast, and Online Fight Cards were awesome modes man. The Broadcast thing I bet cost to do. But still it was a one of a kind mode in all MMA gaming.

The online fight cards I miss. It made online player matches that much more fun to spectate others fights while waiting for your own. It was an alternative way to run a tournament if you wanted as well.

EA MMA had another online mode as well I don't remember the name but I remember you were able to win real prizes from participating in those in game events.

Man as much as I hated EA MMA,I admit they were on to something with the online fight cards. Just imagine if they did something like this with UFC 3 how unreal it would be! Blows my mind why they haven't attempted to bring some thing like this back

Man. How would one go about getting involved on the fight side of this?

I've played you, Kinetic, various people before. I was very active on UFC 2 and am an MMA diehard from childhood. Always down to have good fights with people who actually wanna play the game instead of making some guy named "Slim Wang" and throwing 100 spin kicks.

Ditto on that. I have no friends IRL that play games and most grown men aren't looking to make friends with someone they don't know by playing UFC (although this HAS happened several times to me), so I never have consistent competition. I still somehow manage to make it to the top of the leaderboards, but I know I'd be even better playing good players.

It's also boring finding one good player every two hours and fighting 50 "Slim Wangs" in the interregnum.

Not to turn this into the "party up" thread but if you're on Xbox add me man. My GT is the same as my name here just with spaces. I luckily have other friends who are hardcore into MMA like I am and being on the younger side more of us still play video games competitively. But once the game drops I'll be always down to play with anyone from here. I too get bored of fighting "Player Name" all night, getting lulled into a false sense of security only to queue up against some T4H dude who takes advantage of insert-exploit-here to stomp my win streak to pieces. All while using some tattooed demigod named "Throwdem Hands" or something.

It'd be nice to y'know. Throw a leg kick once in a while.

See somebody work a jab. Y'know. Fight stuff.

I'll add you. LemusKhan is my tag. I have to let you know that I fight with CAFs mostly, but I always make them like an upper tier stock fighter. Balanced stats and even level 1 moves n ****. Nothing better than crushing 100 ovrs all night with a 91.
