Opponent's health, guard and stamina meter bars should be hidden, do you agree?

So here goes, official poll on what the Operation Sports community would prefer in regards to the health, guard and stamina meters.

We've been blessed this week with news of a great improvement that has made it's way post-beta with the stamina affecting our players with new visual cues, including strikes and footwork being slower past a certain a point with the long term stamina and then to a even greater point the players goes on to drop their hands..

To me, it would benefit a whole lot to the gameplay and to simulate even more so the sport. Knowing everything about your opponent, I feel go strongly against this and so I would definitely want my opponent's bars to be hidden from me, and obviously have mines hidden from them.

Because I only have a 2d side perspective view and can't feel opponent I'm going to disagree.

In unranked you should have the option to show or hide bars.

In ranked they should 100% be hidden.

But you have eyes and ears, dont you? Visual cues being like a story unfolding before your eyes telling you what goes on, and commentary or big blows echoing through your speakers should give you that semblance of feeling at the very least.

        Such a weird reason.

In real life you have access to so much more data than what a tv screen, rumble controllers and speakers can provide.

Yeah it sounds good on paper, obviously very realistic and all but I do wonder how it would work in practice. I could definitely do with testing it out before saying Yes or No. Of course, that ship has sailed. People talk about visual cues but are these cues enough, are they truly reliable to be able to play without a HUD?

Y’all acting like having no hud hasn’t been before. It’s in Fight Night and that was a major success.

I'm not sure if GPD has ever spoken on it, but I'm curious if any testing has been done at all with this as an option. You know how much I'd love to see this happen. It's a fix that wouldn't require them doing anything to the gameplay itself.

I personally have never played Fight Night, I don't know what it's like.

I dont believe it, wake up in the morning to see that "no" is above 5. Im seriously disapointed that those people dont even think it'd be okay to have it in unranked as a option, yet I bet some of ya would love more online modes because havin more choices is something you'd like.

Some of you ask for fights to have a more realistic pace, well not having your opponents actual health and stamina shown to you during the whole fight would help to do that. Stamina being a huge part of the game and visual cues being added juste for the sake of demonstrating that, and yall still want the bar to tell you everything about it?!

It was the best in Fight Night, and playing without a hud entirelly in Undisputed was very enjoyable between friends on couch. But seeing how online has so much more emphasis on these days, having your hud available to you only would be the perfect thing.

I swear if each and everyone of ya would try and play the game that way, you'd have to put actual skills to the test, and would make it so much more gratifying than to base tactics on bars telling you everything that you dont have acess to irl.

So gaddamn disapointed, but you know what, i'll go with whatever the community prefers, I'll just be there waiting till you all realise it even if it takes a few more years.

Edit: if it was unanimous, or a much bigger majority would agree then I would expect it to be added in, but as of now. I guess we'll have to wait.. Again.

Hidden HUD on ranked would be make the game way more fun. FNC was super fun me. You guys can focus on ur opponents movement, not their HUD while playing the game. Lets think about leg kicks in the beta.

Youve never went in further details than say theres not enough visual cues and that bars are needed for tactics. One of those points aint true, and the other is just baffling to me that you'd have to rely that much on informartion fed to you like bars instead of whats already available in-game through visual cues in form of animations already implemented and true to life tactics mixed in with simple logic.

I'd love to see this in ranked.
And as an optional feature you can select in Unranked that will only apply if both players have the "Hide Opponent Meters" box ticked.

I think the new stamina changes should give plenty of visual cues. Stuns have an obvious animation, a low stamina fighter breathed heavily through the mouth it seemed in the beta when they short term gassed, so I feel there is enough visual cues, more would be nice, but there is enough for me to want to play with my opponents HUD hidden.

Not the OP, But it was really good I thought. Adds a nice layer of tension, you pay more attention to tour opponent, if anything it ups your focus because there is no reason to take your attention off the opponent.

Edit: Well, aside from your health meters, lol.
