It's sad man, I hate it. Sony bowed out at the wrong time too.Comment

Looking at these screenshots, it's funny how little the graphics have progressed in ten years. Obviously, the new games dominate in close-up shots, but from afar, there really is not too much difference. Whereas, take 1996 sports title and compare to 2006, and well, it's like an oil painting vs. a photograph.Comment

I wish I played soccer games back then so I can see why everyone still claims PES 6 is the greatest soccer game of all time. Man I hope PES 2017 finally put this game to rest.Comment

It's really been that long huh? 10 years ago was the first time I played the crap out of a 2K basketball, NBA 2K7. Played 2K6 but nowhere near as much as 2K7. Crazy it's been that long already lol all the change within that 10 year period.Comment

Without a doubt. Throw NCAA Football into that mix as well. Other than Online Dynasties (which still might be the best feature I've ever seen in a sports game) the entire PS3/X360 generation was a disaster for the EA football titles, in my opinion. For crying out loud, they couldn't even get the football to spiral in the correct direction on the PS3 for 2-3 years. They also had that weird tackle glitch in NCAA 07 that would happen 4-5 times a game.
(Not great quality but it's all I could find) You can see that #14 is tackling a ghost version of the RB, 5-yards away from the actual RB.Comment

I maintain the one consolation in this is that NBA 2K outsells Madden despite the fact that the NFL's value in Billions is essentially double of the NBA's.
Football is still America's #1 spectator sport and even within the states 2K outsells Madden.Comment

I started playing NBA 2K6 just this past week for the first time. It is a good game even today. The bad part about older games is getting questions answered since gamers have moved on and forums are hard to find with folks who still play them. For instance, I have not been able to figure out how to consistently hit free throws in 2K6.Comment
