When I played UFC 1 occasionally my audio would glitch out and the strikes sounded IDENTICAL to that until I restarted game. I just remembered.

Why does EA constantly let idiots who don't know how to play UFC show off gameplay footage ?

            Head movement looks so bad

I really wish we could get the 8 way movement to allow for smaller slips. Vast majority of fighters dont commit that hard to a side especially when chaining/feinting slips

Active knockdown is also really out of place. Bottom fighter should be able to choose between sitting in his guard or getting right back up. Offensive fighter should be able to hit his opponent or try to pounce on him.

There’s 0 control in those situations. The animations themselves look okay but they clearly dont flow with the rest of the gameplay.

I still have faith in this Dev team but marketing needs work.

They need to put GPD in charge of that as well lol

That wasn't the AI, was it?

It was a pretty good fight.

This is a really bad showing of what seems to have been a better product in the beta.

They showed the same Ngannou model people have been complaining about, the striking audio sounds horrible, and Rogan's commentary sounds like it was recorded in a completely different environment than Anik's.

I completely agree with your points on both slips, and active KDs, I've been whining about the latter for a while, we need to option to stay in guard after all knockdowns.

The main reason I want this other than realism/control is because its really, reeeeallly easy to time an unblockable headkick on a lot of those active KD animations as the opponent gets up, and I can see KD getup spam being an issue in online, because if I could do it reliably, anyone can, whereas if you can choose to stay down, you've atleast got sone options to work with, time a getup as they kick your legs to death, hook the ankle If they try to stack, ect ect.

I agree that this did look pretty ****ty.. but I will say though, from what I can see I’m pretty sure both of those players have a better game understanding than 90% of the people I played during the beta.

Oh no. So is that what all gameplay will look like when people figure it out?

I'm gonna miss my jab-overhand lol

Nah. I can’t speak for others but I have a couple fights recorded with Zhunter and they 100% look better than this but.. I do think it will take some time for fights to actually look really good.

Tbh a lot of the animations are at fault for this, idk what it is but one second the game can look AMAZING and the very next it can be nauseating. Look at that overhand from Ngannou around 7:06, what the **** is that?

Pff, according to some people, this isn't enough lol.

But that back lean looks so terrible, hands half way up still and the movement looks like your bouncing round still while leaning backwards is just an eye sore for me...I really do not like that back sway animation lol. Hands should either be down or the traditional boxing style Bobby Green tries to use while the feet are taking actual steps backwards instead of this bouncy movement. It just looks so weird as is.

Also kinda scary how close HW combos looked as fast as LW combos, but the new combo system has been one of my biggest fears in general...so maybe it's just me.

I'm also not sure how I feel about a Stipe KICK knocking down Ngannou, esp after knowing power ratings are tied to both kicks and punches...UGH that really doesn't make any sense even with perks.

I 1000% agree...it's almost like they don't want people to get hype for the game or even buy it.

What kind of marketing is this? I mean c'mon this is just sloppy...
