Taunting vulnerability is insane

Be careful guys. I was RIVERA. I have seen this 5~6 times while i played the game. Check my head damage.

You just stood in front of the hardest hitter in that division and taunted, I'm not sure I see a problem here. Or is this just a PSA that it doesn't work like UFC 2 anymore?

I don't believe he felt anything was wrong with it(getting KOed) pretty much just giving everyone a heads up. Can't get away with it no more with the stopping power in this game(thank God)

I don't like this at all. It's gimmicky. It's kinda like "hey let's give people a feel-good moment where they KO the cocky guy". If the guy is still looking at you while he's taunting... I don't see why he has to get KO'd unconscious like that. Taunting was a fun part of UFC 2 and now you have to take a bunch of steps back and do it. And then look like a p**** when the other guy comes forward and you stop taunting lol

I'm very competitive and love playing with ego and this has genuinely somewhat detracted from the experience of playing the game for me.

I mean... can we at least make the vulnerability window less?

Basically this, any time I can think of a taunting fighter getting hit they go out or at least get quite badly hurt, which is like the opposite of what happened in 2.

That wasn't really the fact that he was taunting. His feet were parallel and his chin up in the air. The shot that landed while he was taunting didn't really hurt him.

I mean... that's what I'm saying... It's a gimmick. It's not based on realism. It's there to make people feel good for KO'ing the cocky guy.

I'd understand a slightly increased vulnerability window but the way it is now is silly.

Yes but I played another fight i remember that I was Jedrzejczyk and opponent was Hill. That fight ended the same situation like attached gif. Anyway I just want to give a information about taunting vulnerability is huge.

You can still taunt in range.. just make sure you block any incoming strikes lol

Your taunt was late anyway. He was on his feet loading that overhand, then you taunted him.

He probably interrupted the taunt the first time because there's no way that wouldn't have at least rocked him. Trust me I know because I was experimenting with taunting and allowing myself to get hit with different **** lol.

Also, are you sure Nate got dropped taunting? I don't remember that. I know he got dropped a couple of times but yeah.

I feel like a compromise of not getting knocked out cold so easily would be okay? Maybe just get dropped or stunned instead. If you're low on health or your chin depletion stat is low when you do it... then maybe get a KO tho.
