Competition is good, and Sony is walking all over Microsoft. This would deliver a library of exclusive titles that everyone complains that Microsoft lacks.
It would put Microsoft and Sony back to competing with each other again.
Of course, this is when we find out how it was never the exclusive titles that people wanted, just like it wasn't the power of the console they wanted before.
Every single person that poo-pooed the Xbox because off their lack of exclusive titles are why this is even being considered.
