Just getting caught up on this season, and I'm glad you brought this dynasty back. The defense isn't good, but at least you're competitive in these games. It looks like you might be able to run on Temple's defense. If you don't turn the ball over, maybe this is an upset? Good luck!

Trust me when I say, losing does make the wins more sweet. I'm just waiting for that sweetness to kick in.

Thanks my dude. The defense showed their potential against Temple. While we didn't force any punts (yet again), the made some key plays that slowed Temple down. It was encouraging to see people make some plays when needed but unfortunately not enough.

When Stone fumbled inside the Temple 20, my heart just sunk. Everything felt right for us to drive down the field and take the lead and then boom, heartbreak from the one player on offense who has made so much progress to get into that spot.

With that being said, I really like our chances heading into MAC play. The league is really down this year and we have the potential to make some noise.

I'm going to be away in California for work this coming week and this weekend is a busy one so I may not be able to get any updates in. I'll return on Friday the 9th so hopefully I can get the next game in next weekend! Just wanted to give an update for any followers. Enjoy the super bowl, we won't have (real) foosball for sometimes afterwards!

Dillon to miss Buffalo game due to suspension

Head Coach Tim Keyser has dealt with his fair share of player absences in this just his fourth year at the helm of the young Penn A&T football program. He can add one more to his list for the upcoming home game against the University of Buffalo.

Junior Defensive Tackle Thomas Dillon (York, PA) has been suspended for at least the Buffalo game after his part in an altercation at an off campus apartment this past weekend. The football team was on a BYE week and was granted Sunday off. The altercation took place on Saturday evening.

Dillon to this day has the been the highest rated recruit that Penn A&T has ever signed, ranked as a 3 star player and #34 at the defensive tackle position out of York Catholic High School. He enrolled in January of 2014.

He was a vital part of the interior defensive line in each of his first two seasons. However, in 2016, he has only recorded 1 tackle.

Keyser had this to say at his weekly presser, "Tom was involved in an altercation this weekend that really proved to be a big lapse in judgement. He won't be on the field with us this week and then we will reevaluate."

It is expected that senior Landon Vickers will start in his place, with Damon Williams switching on and off between the edge and the middle.

I know I keep saying it....... but this is the game! Should hopefully be a couple of touchdown win but at this point, even a 1 point win is a win.

Good luck and lets bring home this W!!

Alas! We stepped out of the dark cellar once again! While I truly believe that the defensive mechanics in this game are broken, this was the best I've felt on defense in quite awhile. With that being said, Buffalo was straight up garbage. We have a tough but winnable matchup with Eastern Michigan next!

                        Thank for checking in boys!

Dutchmen get 3 commits after Buffalo win

Penn A&T picked up verbal commitments from three high school seniors this past week after the Dutchmen defeated the University of Buffalo 38-23. The commitments give Penn A&T their first for the class of 2017.

Kicker Lyle Davis (Washington, D.C.), Guard Marshall Clemons (Economy, PA), and Tackle Tamir White (Woodlyn, PA) all gave their verbal commitment to play for the Fightin Dutchmen in 2017.

Davis, rated the 46th kicker in the country carrie with him a solid boot but has a bit of trouble getting his kicks to go where he wants them. With kicker Robert Guidry set to graduate at the end of next semester, Davis will most likely get thrown into the fire immediately. He also had offers from Memphis and South Alabama.

Clemons already has the size at 6'4 284lbs and has some more room to grow. A very balanced lineman with no real strengths or weaknesses, however he gets off the snap very quickly, something that Penn A&T has been lacking in years passed. Penn A&T was his only FBS offer but it's clear that the coaching staff likes tapping into the strong Western PA football player base.

White stands at 6'3 273lbs and is rated a 2 star by Rivals. Hailing from just outside of Philadelphia this commitment makes sense as Penn A&T continues to try and bolster their offensive line for the future. White sticks out for his pass blocking abilities and has the chance to get some early playing time if he can beat out transfer Darren Underwood, the converted Tight End. White also had offers from MAC foe Ohio and in-state rival Temple.

                            Dillon to miss another game
Junior Defensive Tackle Thomas Dillon will not travel with the team to the Eastern Michigan game, marking his second consecutive game that he will miss due to suspension.

Details are still scarce about the issue from which Dillon was suspended, except that he was involved in an altercation at an off-campus apartment before the Buffalo game.

"We've had too many issues with player conduct off campus in just our three short years as a program. We're putting an end to this," stated Head Coach Tim Keyser.

Eastern Michigan holds on against Penn A&T in final minutes, wins 28-26
Summary: This was a true test of where both teams stood heading into the brute of MACtion play. Penn A&T and EMU went at each other's throats in the first half, with the Eagles taking the 14-10 lead into the break. A fumble by RB De'Mario Almanza inside the redzone (below) cost Penn A&T a big opportunity to take the lead before halftime. However, EMU never relinquished the lead. A turnover by the Dutchmen late in the fourth seemed to end things before Lamont Singletary reeled in his own interception to give Penn A&T life. The visitors would drive down and score but could not convert the two-point conversion. EMU would have several big plays on their final drive, drowning out the clock for the victory.

                              1. EMU QB Brogan Roback didn't have a day for the ages but he did what he needed to do to beat Penn A&T
                              2. The defense did a good job putting pressure on Roback all day. Hodari Christian tallied two sacks on the day.
                              3. Late in the second quarter, as Penn A&T was headed for the endzone, RB De'Mario Almanza was hit and fumbled inside the 10 yard line. He didn't record a snap the rest of the afternoon.
                              4. LB Lamont Singletary reeled in his first interception of the season in the fourth quarter.
                              5. RB Marcus Williams had his best game as a Fightin Dutchmen, rushing for 150 yards. However, he was unable to find paydirt.
