    This card looks insane.

    Machida vs Anders
    Dodson vs Munhoz
    Shevchenko vs Who Da Fook
    Thiago Santos vs Anthony Smith
    Sergio Moraes vs Tim Means
Marlon Vera, Maraja and Deveison Figueiredo in the prelims.

Then you have Tim Johnson vs an undefeated heavyweight.

    OOOoooooooOooO

I just hope Machida wins, thatโ€™s the only outcome I care about in any of the fights.

There could also be a Fight Companion aswell!!!

I don't know if I'm losing my passion for the sport or what but this card is not exciting to me. I know Machida is a fan favourite but he's lost three fights in a row and is going to be 40 in a few months.

The Dodson/Munhoz fight is definitely good/interesting but nothing that great.

I don't really like female fights so not that interested in Shevchenko. Don't get me wrong... I enjoy some female fights and fighters but I generally care about them less than male fights. The idea that it makes you a casual for feeling that way is ridiculous imo. Especially when you've been watching the sport before they were in the UFC.

      Santos/Smith is a fun fight.

      Means/Moraes is okay.

Tim Johnson is trash. Every guy other than one guy on the undefeated HW's record has a losing record. He could definitely be good but it's relatively common that guys come into the UFC undefeated and end up getting cut.

I'm not trying to be negative for the sake of it. This is just my view on the card. I'm not sure if there's just too many cards at this point. The quality isn't what it once was. Even the PPV's coming up are pretty poor. It seems that most PPV's at the beginning of the year are though.

Re: UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Anders

Part of me wants Machida to win, part of me wants him to lose in non devastating fashion. I don't think I want Machida to face better competition. I was such a big fan of his I can't stand to see him getting ko'd so much.

I'm always down for a Dodson fight, I also like Munhoz. I like watching Santos fight, and Valentina as well.

Way to piss on my parade hahaha!!

220 was pretty good. The Stephens vs Choi card was ok aswell. I do agree, the end of the year is when they put together some stacked cards.
221 doesnโ€™t have the name power but it has a few fun fights on there. Another thing is when cards look **** is when they deliver most... I remember a few last year that looked absolutely rubbish but they delivered with a load of finishes. If you compare that to the cards that are stacked with name power and end up being a load of cagey decisions.

Iโ€™m not too much into WMMA either but I think Shevchenko is very skilled, she dominated Holm with her check hook alone lol.

              Lol. Sorry.

Yeah, fun fights are fun. I totally get that. For some reason as of late I'm not as interested in "fun fights" as I used to be tho. Like Perry is a fan favourite but I'm not particularly interested in watching him fight. Don't get me wrong... I enjoy him but yeah. I like to watch guys who I know have the potential to be a real contender or already are. I find that nowadays I much prefer to watch high level guys where the stakes are high. The Tony/Khabib fight is so exciting. Maybe I'm just becoming a casual lol

Yeah I can understand that, but I like to watch every card from the bottom up so I can find any hidden gems.

There are some very exciting fights coming up though like DJ vs TJ, DC vs Miocic, Khabib vs Ferg - which will set up the winner vs Conor.

Khabib vs Conor would be INSANE and after watching BJJ SCOUTS video on Conorโ€™s takedown defence, it makes it even more interesting.

BJJ Scout is very good. I haven't seen it yet but will check it out later.

I used to watch all the prelims too. On every card. I think I'm just burnt out tho. There is so much MMA to watch now. Each card is like 6 hours and there's basically one every weekend. Then you have Bellator too. And Boxing.

I'll try and watch any prospects or undefeated guys on the prelims. Or just generally good fights but I don't watch them as much as I used to.

I'll likely get more into them again in time though.

Re: UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Anders

I only tend to watch the massive boxing fights but I do try and keep up with AJ, GGG, Loma and Canelo.

As for Bellator, I just find the majority of their fighters would probably be on the Fight Pass prelims. So I tend to steer clear of them.

I only used to strictly watch main cards, and the occasional prelim fights if they had some star power in there. Then Iโ€™d come across all the GIFs of crazy finishes that happened earlier in the card, and think ah **** lol.

I posted the videos, but they must of got deleted or something. It was interesting watching the open workouts from Shevchenko and Cachoeira.

I don't know if Cachoeira is sand bagging, but the gap in striking skills looks silly. Like crazy silly.

Lol. I know I did it, because it takes me forever to embed two videos. Chances are I either accidentally deleted myself or maybe accidentally navigated away from page before web page was finished loading when I originally created post.

I figured if a mod actually deleted them I would have gotten a pm, so figured maybe I screwed it up or something.

The fights? That's too bad. Not the worst card to miss though.

For my original post normally I always go to ufc photo/Video thread to cut and paste embed url since I'm on mobile.

I accidentally posted it their instead of here.
